Heat Pump Repair or Service
Mainstream Heating and Cooling are Great. My heat went out at 10 PM on Friday night, so I looked on line for local companies. Checked, and Mainstream had good ratings, and was listed as having 24/7 Emergency Repair available. Called, and got there stand-by Tech Wesley. Within 45 mins he was at the house. After some trouble shooting, he went to his service truck, got the needed part, and voilà , we have heat. He was knowledgeable and courteous. The repair bill was very reasonable. Thumbs Up for Mainstream.

It appears that your compressor failed and when the engine of a unit fails the only 2 options are replace the compressor or replace the entire unit. Our comfort technician offered you a price for both options and we agree that they are both an expensive choice. While we wish that this was a fixable event, a blown compressor, just like a blown car engine is not something that can be patched together and work correctly. We welcome any feedback you can offer that would help us determine how we could have meet your needs better. However, the comments in your rating have left us puzzled as how what we communicated could have been handled to your satisfaction. Thank you for taking the time to share with us your comments. I was charged $50 dollars for a quote on how much it would cost to replace both heat pumps. I have never heard back from the company with any information. I believed they never did the assessment until I saw the charge on my rental company receipt.

I called MainStream Heating and Cooling to service my ac unit in the summer. The technician was efficient, personable, and had my unit cleaned in no time. I also called them when my heat went out. They ordered the part and had my unit working in one day at a reasonable rate. MainStream is the only HVAC company I will use!

They did a great job for me. The unit was installed quickly, the guys were very polite and answered all of my questions. Their pricing was the lowest for my new Trane unit. I love this company and will definately call them again
