About us

Mainstream Home Improvement, Inc., opened its doors July 31, 2001. Jeff Wroblewski and Spencer Sierra, the two owners of the company, had a vision of creating a home improvement contractor in the Quad Cities that would build lasting relationships with its customers. They believed word of mouth advertising was the key for a small business to succeed. Keeping your customers happy will lead to referrals and additional work to your customer's home.

Hired then for 2 window replacement projects. The porch went well and they were very responsive to the torn screen. 2 problems. 1st they did not put insulation in between the windows and the structure when they replaced any of the windows, I found out because of the drafts in the winter. They came out to repair but all they did was stuff some insulation from the inside. Not a fix in my mind and not what they said they would do when I purchased the windows. I specifically asked if they would seal between the windows and the house. The 2nd project is Living room windows they said they would look like the other windows but they used smaller windows and put in a bunch of trim, again not what they said they would do when they sold them. Plant had to come out because the windows did not seal and were very drafty. Plant said it was chimney effect and I should expect that. I finally showed them what was wrong and they brought out new sashes for 3 of the windows, but still waiting on the touch up plaint and the replacement to fix the drafts in the 2 small windows.
