I hired them to make some steps to my back door and requested 5" risers because I am handicapped. They didn't make stringers, they pieced together blocks of wood and pieces of 2x4s for stringers. The steps were two 2x4's screwed to the pieced together stringers. Not built to code at all and after a couple months of the installation the top step rocked to bad it was a trip and fall hazard. I had to have them ripped out and replaced by a carpenter that knew how to make the correct stringers and were built to code. They charged me $340 for a few pieces of scrap wood and a couple hours of work to put in the "steps" They didn't even pre-drill the screw holes so every one of the 2x4s were split. Never again.
