Majestic Construction - Richard Manzo was wonderful. We found that a minor project, replacement of a toilet and replacing cracked tile turned into a full gut. Removing the bathroom tile revealed termites! The termite have been removed, by thoroughly removing the subflooring and rebuilt the bathroom. (The house has been treated by another company, so that issue is resolved ) New title, new shower, vanity, toilet. It's beautiful. A glass shower door will be installed and the bathroom will be complete. It wasn't cheap, because so much infrastructure has been fixed. Photos will be added when the shower door is installed.

We were extremely impressed with Majestic Construction & Remodeling. They were quick to respond to our inquiry, understood the vision for our project, gave a timely and fair estimate, and completed the work early. They worked efficiently and did a top-notch job. We will be hiring them again and recommend them to anyone.

Ricardo was the best contractor I could have asked for! He was the first person to reply to my project on Angi, and was there same day to give me a quote. (Most of the other companies took DAYS to get back to me.) Since he was so responsive and professional, I thought it was going to way more expensive to get this project done in the time frame I needed, but his quote was amazing and he was able to start the next day--which was great news that he would be able to finish the project before my move in date! My favorite thing about working with Ricardo is that he is truly a professional--he's transparent about his service costs and there was no mark up on the materials. Everything was exactly as he promised, and he did an amazing job communicating his services. He cared about my home as if it were his own, making sure the floors were always safe and cleaned up afterwards so it was move in ready. He was also extremely flexible when I added more projects to the initial quote (Backsplash removal, dry wall installation) and was still able to get it all done in the time frame he quotes me. My home will need a ton of work, and I will be going to him first for my bathroom remodel, new floors, and backyard updates--Ricardo is my guy from here on out!

I hired them to correct walls, ceilings that were wavy in areas (plaster), as well as paint the ceilings and walls. Also to add new drywall to 1 damaged area from water damage. I dont want to waste any time and beat around the bush. This company is awful and dont recommend them to anyone for their home, commercial or investment property projects. I ended up going through mediation to get some money back, but due to not having quotes for all the damage I have lost money replacing and repairing things that this company damaged. They did not cover window blinds, didnt remove doors, cover floors, cabinetry, outlets, lights or anything else in my property... UNTIL I complained and attempted to fire them the first time. They pleaded to me to allow them to fix the project, and I allowed them that chance. They said they dont care about the money, and would refund me everything if I wanted. As it turns out, that was a lie too. After mediation, they asked for me to retract my review. Even after having me losing THOUSANDS of dollars because of their lack of professionalism and care. Their workers are lazy, having been observed doing nothing but spending time on their phones for an 6-8 hour period to please the boss? Most days there would only be someone at my property for approximately 1 hour. Issues: Nearly all outlets had become hazards, stuffed inside with drywall mud or w/e was used. Had to replace them. Paint on window blinds. This is a very expensive fix. Damaged cabinets in Kitchen, ripped off the finish. Paint on all lighting fixtures, doorbell housing, doors(drips/splatter), thermostat and windows, They did not remove things from walls, like face plates, they just try to paint around. Mostly without tape and thus paint your belongings. Lied about me in mediation (character attacks) Lied and attacked my character to other professionals whom were in my house. If I was this bad, why would the other company workers then tell me? Added a 3x2 drywall patch to damaged area, but didnt tape or do corners. Left gaps. Did not sand down walls; Blending in old from new. Did not use tape to cut lines for the ceiling. Only an issue because of how unsteady the lines were. VERY bad, wave like lines. Wall color on ceiling, ceiling color on walls. If you cant do something free hand, tape. Did not tape door trim, they just painted on the sides without regard or care. Accidentally walked away with tools of mine (dry wall tools, multiple putty knives). Damaged or ruined other tools. Paint on brooms, and other household items. spots and dots of old paint still visible in places. Wasted finish paint to be able to see where to use mud. The only good thing about this experience is that I did not hire them to do anything more, other than this one unit. My property is a duplex (2 units) in Chicago, built in the 1920s. One thing that is very clear is that they did not care for my project, nor my home. They would brag how this was a small project to them. That makes me feel great, thank you Majestic for letting me know how unimportant I am to you and how you look at us home-owners. All because I bought an old property, it doesnt mean the quality of work on renovation should be completely sloppy. No one that has been in my property has said anything good about how it looked. I could go on for ever about how everything about this experience was truly awful. The only thing I want at this point is to make you aware, so you avoid this company. Their are a lot of people doing good work, honest work. No need to take a risk. I dont want anyone to have to go through what I did. I hate writing negative reviews, but this needs to be said, this needs to be seen.

Everything is new, so I am trying to get the hang of things!

They did not preform as promised. They did not corner off the area properly to repair the sanding of the floor, left close to a 1/4 of dust over my entire unit.

Ricardo and his crew did a quality job fixing everything my condo which was a foreclosure and needed some work in many areas-painting, refinishing floors, fixing broken windows and putting in light fixtures, bathroom vanities etc. He did everything and it was quality work. Was a bit pricey, but I am very pleased with what he and his crew did.

I had Majestic quote the installation of some under cabinet lighting and proceeded to have them complete a full kitchen update - new sink, faucet, garbage disposal airswitch, marble/glass mosaic backsplash, new electrical, LED lighting, and drywall repair/paint. They are a one-stop-shop!! They completed the project in 2.5 days time and I couldn't have been happier with the result. Ricardo has a solid crew working with him and they are dedicated to quality work with attention to detail. A few snafus/changes occurred over the course of the project and he rolled with the changes, fortunately none significant enough to require additional labor or costs. His pricing was better than others too! I'll be keeping him number for future projects and already recommended him to friends too!

I needed emergency repair done on exterior door and Ricardo from Majestic Construction was able to provide me with a estimate and have some one the site to do the repair work within a couple of hours. The whole project was able to be wrapped up in less than 5 hours of my initial call.

We called Majestic for an estimate to refinish our living room hardwood floor which was in pretty bad shape with water and pet stains. Ricardo came out the same day we called and gave us a reasonable estimate . He was able to start the next day and his workers did a beautiful job!! We can't believe it's the same floor! They did an absolutely fantastic job!! They cleaned up & even came back to help us put the furniture back when the floor was dry. We will be happy to hire them again and would definitely recommend them.

I hired Majestic for some small repairs and to replace shower tile in a small bathroom. After demo, we discovered water damage that required a full remodel. Talk about stressful…this was unexpected and right before the holidays. I was on a tight deadline. Ricardo and his crew were professional, punctual and thorough. I was able to make informed decisions without the upsell. I will definitely use Majestic for future projects.

I hired Majestic Construction to install all the drywall and kitchen cabinets in our basement after a recent flood. Ricardo came out and gave an estimate and was able to start work immediately. They completed the project in less than a week and they even worked with me when I added to the scope of work. Ricardo is very professional and knowledgable, I would definitely hire Majestic Construction again.

Majestic did a fabulous job on our 3 bathroom remodel projects. They were timely, professional and conscientious about the quality of work being performed. They often went above and beyond to make sure the work was done properly, even when we encountered extra problems that needed to be fixed, before work could resume. Ricardo and his team at Majestic worked so diligently and so well with us, that we expanded the scope of our project and subsequently hired them to sand / refinish all our hardwood floors, carpet the bedrooms and paint the entire house. We truly enjoyed working with them and would highly recommend them to anyone. Everything looks great!

I used Majetic to prepare our condo for sale. Repair broken floor boards and sand the floors, repair and paint all the walls. Overall I am very happy with the job the place looks great and they were easy to deal with. He also had his cleaning people come in after the work and did a extermely thorough job. I will very likely use them again in the future.

Majestic has now completed two jobs for our family, and both times, they did a wonderful job! Everything looks great, and they finished in a timely manner.
