At first, Pedro was responsive and came to our home to give us an estimate. We hired him for our pool maintenance based on his reviews. Then everything went downhill. Pedro did not keep his word and service our pool as agreed. He canceled our 2x weekly service a few times due to various excuses. If Pedro was too busy to take on new clients, he should have said so instead of leaving a really bad impression on us. Would not recommend it.

I stated all of that to show that I have lived a long and blessed life. I know what it is like to be treated with respect and dignity. Over the past thirteen years, my late husband and I have contracted with many pools and/or spa maintenance personnel that live and work in the Coachella Valley. To date, I have never been treated with more respect, dignity, and professionalism as I have experienced with Pedro H. [Major League Pool Service]. I was left in tears and appalled after having been unfairly treated by the previous maintenance personnel [never on time, never knew when they were coming, paid for services not performed, and treated very disrespectfully as a woman of color]. I was referred to Pedro H. [ a licensed contractor] through HomeAdvisor and it was one of the best investments of time, money, and peace of mind, regarding my home, that I have ever made. Pedro is always on time, worked the Columbus Day holiday, sometimes works on the weekends, does quality work, works both smarter and harder, knows the equipment, knows the best chemical mixture to not only remove stains, but also keep them from returning, has expertly and personally cleaned, and is maintaining my filters, replaced my spa equipment gasket which had unexpectedly sprung a leak, and, because he is conscientious, wait for it, wait for it, he does not do repairs without consulting me, the homeowner first, regarding the estimated price and estimated time to complete the job. This is just unprecedented in this day and time and during this Covid-19 pandemic. He is just such a *breath of fresh air*. He is very personable and is always *smiling* and cheerful. He has provided my property with more than what I pay for his monthly pool and spa cleaning services. And he can be trusted. He is the first contractor that I have ever provided a gate lock box combination so that he can come and go as he pleases on my property when I am not home. I am so pleased with the service that I gave him a 20% monthly raise after 60 days of service. A company is only as good as its employees. And I have found Pedro H. to be a man of his word. We found this pool service through Home Advisor in mid September. I was impressed with the reviews I read and decided to give Pedro an opportunity. There are so many pool service businesses in this valley, and they all promise they can do it all in the beginning and then do not deliver. I am thrilled to say that Pedro has delivered and continues to do so. He is the owner and services the pools by himself. One of the things he told us when we hired him was that he did not take on too many pools, so he could do a thorough job at each one. What we were looking for was reliability, quality, knowledge of pool systems, and professional attitude. Pedro has it all. He is always on time and comes at the times he had told us he would. He takes his time in cleaning and does what needs to be done on that day. He also has excellent knowledge of the pool equipment and has already noticed a few things that were not working properly and has gotten them repaired thus improving the efficiency. He always has a friendly smile and a great work ethic. His monthly rate is affordable and a very good value for the quality. If you are tired of your current pool service showing up late or switching days without warning or rushing in and out in a few minutes not doing a good job, then do not hesitate to give Pedro a call.
