Designer - Landscape
Hired business for a small landscaping project at my business. Gave a 50% deposit in August. Waited for weeks. No response to texts. Finally reached and was told plants were in poor condition. Had to be reordered. More weeks. Plants arrived. No showed for install. Phoned again. No response. Sent text and email firing Majors for the hired job. Requested refund. Sargent responded to that. Explanation about poor cell reception/dropped texts. Discussed with him trying one more time. Set install date for the end of the week. (Friday afternoon at 12:00 pm. ) called at 1:40 to check status as no communication and failed to show. Sargent informed me he was Stuck at another job. Would definitely be there the following morning. ( Saturday) Went to my business location the following morning? a repeat of Friday. No call. No showed. Nothing. Contacted them 5 days ago ( Sunday) about a refund. Was told it was sent and he would look into it and get back to me. This evening, Friday, texted for information about the looking into. Texts were exchanged. Now family illness prevents follow through. I had been waiting to review as I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt. Relayed as much to Sargent who then said he could just as easily review my business, which he has not utilized, and write a negative review. So: if timeliness, responsiveness, follow-through, communication, and completion are not priorities. You will be happy. It might take 5 years for the job to get done, but hey he did not write a negative online review on your business. so great. The flip of that: anyone else is a better choice. I will just respond when Sargent Majors reviews my business. It is worth it to prevent others from going through what I have. the wasted time trying to work with this company.
