What can we say, but how Awesome Shotzie is at what she does. She is friendly, keeps you in the loop, was very responsive to any questions we had along the way and she takes great pride in her work. She goes the extra mile to make sure you are truly happy with the job she does. She painted our whole house inside, including ceilings. You won't be disappointed if you hire her. We can't say enough good things about Shotzie and Make It New Painting. From the first introduction, they were very professional and transparent. We had four different companies give us a quote of our space, and they took the most time in detail in their quote process. They gave us a great deal - about half of what another company quoted - and worked for almost two days straight to finish it. We bought cheap paint (on accident) which required a third layer; Shotzie didn't charge us an extra time for the extra hours she had to put in. She came back first thing the next morning and got the job done for us. They also fixed our ceiling paint and a side of our stairs and didn't charge extra. Fantastic customer service and quality - will absolutely recommend and hire again. Thank you!

Good work

The people here are friendly and fair. The quality of work was great and couldn’t be more happier. Always on time and treated my home with respect. I would check around for better pricing if you need bigger jobs done. They did a 5ft by 5ft section and the price was more than fair. But when asked to do a bigger job I got a quote for 6,000 which was 270% higher than 2 other quotes I had received.

She was very pleasant,professional and knowledgeable as well as her crew. I would recommend this company and definitely will be hiring them in the near future

Company was not able to complete the job to our satisfaction. We hired this company to fix our drywall (we removed wallpaper) and paint our kitchen. They took on more than they could handle, the first day they were over an hour late and only worked 3 hours. The work was done poorly, the walls were not smooth, paint was uneven, paint was left on my kitchen cabinets and ceiling plus there was drywall dust all over my house because they did not drape anything. My husband spoke with the owner because we were extremely dissatisfied with the job, she was responsive to our concerns, came out to the house a few days later to see and was appropriately upset. While she did apologize profusely and sent a different worker to fix the job who seemed knowledgeable and polite, the job still did not get done. The worker was not prepared with the proper supplies so he had to reschedule, then no-showed that appointment. Per the owner this was a misunderstanding on my part but it was not. At this point we asked the contractor to just come pick up their supplies and we terminated the job. We will have to hire another contractor or finish the jobs ourselves. Just very disappointed, I had high hopes after meeting with the owner on the original walk through, unfortunately we ended up with a much larger mess than we started with.

Amazing experience! Estimate was same day, work started next day and was finished in two days. Squeezed me in just when I needed it. Quality is superb, and Schotzie and her crew were polite and honest and professional. The rate was reasonable especially considering the tight deadline. They also had some really helpful suggestions on the design of my project. It turned out beautifully. I would recommend to anyone. Thanks for a great job!

The estimate was done within 24 hours of first contact, work began the next day. The workers were prompt, professional, and courteous. Work was meticulous. I will be calling them again as well as recommending them to friends.

I needed to getting a big interior painting job done in a hurry. The crew was reliable and got the entire first floor painted in time for the floors to be refinished. They also dealt effectively with some very challenging plaster walls. And the price was very reasonable. I recommend Make It New.

At first the job appeared to be just painting. Their estimate was very reasonable. Once into the job they realized the walls needed sanding (walls once had wallpaper on them). I was very pleased with the work they did. Because the job required extra effort (which they were not going to charge for), I gave them a bonus. I will definitely hire them again.
