When we moved into our house more than a year ago one of my wishes was to have the wall-to-wall carpeting removed because I was eager to show off the white oak flooring. Recently we decided to have it done and Maloney Hardwood was exactly the refinisher to bring the buried treasure to light. There was an unpleasant surprise when we took up the carpeting and found two large water stains, but he fit in new lumber to blend perfectly with the existing flooring. We would highly recommend him. When I phoned mr. Maloney to schedule an estimate for our project he promptly returned my call and made an appointment within 2 days. He arrived at the scheduled time and was friendly, professional and highly knowledgeable. Mr. Maloney informed me he's a master carpenter so I knew I'd be in great hands. I needed him to match new flooring to existing flooring in the kitchen and the job was performed flawlessly! He and his two assistants installed the flooring with care and attention to detail. There was no residual dust from the installation and they neatly cleaned up at the end of the day. The finished product far exceeded our expectations and made a tremendous difference in the house! It was a seamless transition from the kitchen into the great room.Replacing wall-to-wall carpeting with this beautifully finished hardwood floor brightened the whole house and has certainly added value to the home. The money we spent was well worth it for the outstanding transformation, and Mr. Maloney and his team are just the kind of people you feel comfortable having in your home, knowing that they take exceptional pride in their work. We love Brian and his crew! This was the last project in totally rehabbing our apartment and finishing with such a positive experience was a treat. We live in a Coop with many rules and restrictions; parking, elevator, equipment, hours, etc. Brian and his crew adhered to each rule explicitly with complaints. The Maloney crew completed the job two days sooner than their estimate. They used 11 bags of levelers and moved large furniture and left our apartment clean and tidy each day. I highly recommend Maloney Hardwood Floors. Brian Maloney explained all steps of the process. He and his staff sanded, stained and sealed the floors in my 90 year old home. The results are incredible! The floors are gorgeous. Everyone who has seen the floors in person or in photos loves the results!

Brian was quick to respond to my initial call. Was quick with estimates and prompt for appointments. On the day of instillation the team was very friendly and professional. Answered all questions and concerns I had. Plan to have them install more hardwood in other rooms.

Brian was very prompt in giving estimates, very professional, guided me in color decision as I wanted to stain the floors a different color from original floor color. This is an older home and the workmanship is outstanding, it looks like the floors have been replaced with new flooring! I would highly recommend Maloney hardwood Floors to anyone looking to refinish or replace flooring. I purchased an older home and wanted the floors sanded and refinished quickly. With about 3 weeks notice, Brian was able to get the job done, with plenty of time before the movers came. I am pleased to be able to recommend Brian Maloney. I had contracted him to move furniture and pull up the carpet in my living room and refinish that floor and the existing hardwood floors in the kitchen and dining room. I also had him replace all the baseboards in the living room and hall. The floors look wonderful! Dust was minimal because they enclosed all the areas in plastic. Brian, along with Chris and Pat showed up on time, cleaned up and were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them.

Brian was beyond professional and extremely reliable. He gave me an estimate that was spot on with the final amount, and I feel I got a really good value for what I paid. His work is absolutely beautiful. He truly did a perfect job, and he was in and out without any mess in three days. He is trustworthy and I truthfully could not be more satisfied with my experience. I want to re-do all the hardwoods in my house now because of the results I had with him. I wish all contractors could be this reliable! I give him the highest recommendation!

About $3 a square foot, and he would call to cjeck with me about repairs he recommended. Was able to squeeze in part of my project early due to a delay in his other project. Needs about a 6 week lead time

Brian repaired & refinished our 90 year old floors and they came out amazing. Excellent customer service, was able to fit us in ahead of schedule and got the job done in the time frame indicated. Refinishing the floors was a messy process but they did an excellent job cleaning up. Highly recommend Brian and his crew.

I was referred by a friend of mine for a great flooring contractor. I am extremely particular with my home, which has 100 year old oak floors. They were in desperate need of help and the other companies told me that I would need a completely new floor installed. Brian came and looked at the floors and said that they would be easily refinished. He was correct. My refinished floors are beautiful and I am so pleased to have saved so much money. Brian did an amazing job of insetting new hardwood where a wall had previously been - looks like it was always there. He was onsite the entire first day working alongside his two staff and came back at the end of the second day to make sure the job had been completed satisfactorily. They did a beautiful job, were professional, friendly and open to any questions we had. My floors are beautiful again! I would highly recommend them and, in fact, have already given Brian's name to family and friends.

These guys were 5 minutes early on both of the 2 days that it took to completely strip, stain and seal my entire first floor. They put the molding back together better than it was previously. Exceptional service for the money.
