I feel as if I got scammed. While the young man was nice and arrived on time, he was aware of the issue with my refrigerator before arrival. Paid $70 for him to tell me I needed freon(which I already said in the first call) but stated that he wasnt ?licensed to handle hazardous materials?. He should have just told me he couldnt help me yesterday. Do not use this company for refrigerators apparently.

Unfortunately, we have a record of following our protocol, which is to inform all customers of the numerous possibilities regarding a refrigerator or freezer not getting cool before any scheduling is made upon approval of the customer. As professional long-time experienced technicians, we understand the multiple possible issues from different components of the refrigerator that can cause it to overheat however as it is normally required to do an in-person diagnostic before rendering a solution for there is no way..."

He arrived promptly and began to work on my ice maker. He found that he needed parts and ordered them. When he obtained the parts, he called and arranged a convenient time to return to install them. He is very personable, and when he left, I felt like I made a new friend.

repairs not complete should be done 3/5/19. not happy that it's taking this long. a diagnostic of $80 is ridiculous and it's not even applied to the bill

"You were fully advised of the cost of diagnosis and had the opportunity to deny our services, however, you accepted. You live 45 minutes away from our general location, which means this would consist of 90mins travel time plus the 1-hour minimum for inspecting your appliance. Also, keep in mind we pick up your parts 25 minutes away from our store location. We strongly believe our rates are reasonable based on time of labor, travel, and part pick up. We apologize for any inconvenience that our company may have caused you and we suggest you find someone who may be able to satisfy your needs Also keep in mind that you paid $70 in cash, not $80 to our technicians."

I called after seeing reviews to repair a dryer. It was not heating. The company could not order the parts so I did. The first part did not work and heating still did not occur. I paid him to come out again and he determined I needed to reorder the part it was not any good. I did this and he came back and did not charge, after charging for the first three visits, the diagnosis, the repair and to review why not heating. Came back to put in the new element. Heat worked but the belt broke right after he fixed it. He came back to see what was wrong. I ordered a belt after calling to get the right belt. Was told wrong and had to go get another belt. I will add that waited the day for him to show up and had to keep texting to get a new time. He did come the next day after saying he wanted to wait. He put in the new belt yesterday and when I got home the machine would not even turn on. I texted him and never heard back. While he is very nice and clearly frustrated that every time he came back something new needed to be fixed, I do think that he did not know how to fix this machine and part of it may be the way he did this. The machine is not put back together well, and that may be why it will not work, but text back would have been nice. He is a very nice young man, clearly does a lot of different things with his business and maybe he took on a job he was not able to do. I would not call him again as I clearly have put too much money and come out with nothing. A response back to my text that the machine is not working would have been nice. I am as frustrated as he is.

"thank you for your review however you were fully advised of the time and money it will cost to do a full repair and fully warned if any issues were to occur we would do our best to resolve which we made six unpaid trips to your home. After each attempt to repair the machine, it work fine after the technician left the house on each repair the technician received a call or text a day or two right after that your Appliance failed on each repair but the technician made sure the heat work as well as the appliance was spinning before he left and confirmed it with the responsible party on this site. we firmly believe that the client is attempting"

We really enjoyed our experience as Toure was genuine and kind. He arrived in the early evening (around 7pm) which was very convenient for me and my husband so we did not have to take off from work to be there. He changed out our freezer element which was no easy task. Removing all the parts to get to the removal of the old part to take out and replacing with a new part which he picked up himself for us. He was time expedient but also took the time to talk with us socially as well. Maybe it was just that our personalities just meshed or maybe it was just the level of comfort we got from him being a stranger in our home. (Its not always easy having someone you don't know just come into the home environment especially if your a woman without someone else being there ) but Toure just naturally set our minds at ease. The price for doing such a tedious job was awesome. We would definetelyrecommend him to anyone and appreciate this service. Thank you Toure for your excellent work. Kendell & Evelyn.

Unfortunately the client seem to display more hostility and antagonizing behavior that we here at Man and Machine declined to place our techs in any potentially harmful environment. Very dissatisfied. The repair did not solve the problem. I texted back with pictures as the primary way to communicate and no response. UPDATE 9/14/2018; a satisfactory resolution was reached with this contractor.

I felt very comfortable being in my home alone with the two gentlemen. They were very polite and respectful. Even though it was extremely hot outside they didn't stink. I hate to have a smelly contractor in my home. Thanks guys. Keep making Columbia, SC beautiful, one family at a time.

I contacted home advisors on Sunday, got a call back within 30 minutes, and had an appointment the next day. Toure was pleasant and fixed my icemaker within a half hour. Awesome customer service!

Ricardo Holmes was very Professional, Ricardo was there less than an hour, he removed a item that was blocking the fan from rotating my front load dryer. He went above and beyond what I expected him to do, he also vacuum out the inside, which hasn't been done in years. The charge was very reasonable and I'm very Happy!

They arrived a little late due to another job, but did call to explain and to say they were on their way. They replaced a drain pump and drainage hose on my dishwasher. I had purchased the parts and they had no problem with that, so they charged a flat hourly rate to repair it. The work was done quickly and they were very professional. I definitely recommend them and will use them again.

We had to install lights outside our business and lights under the business sign. Neil gave us various lighting options to go for. It was pleasure working with him. Would definitely recommend him and hire him again.
