Man around the house

We got in touch with Bernard to do some wiring in our house, it was a nightmare, it was every electrician's worst nightmare come true, but Bernard fixed every problem we had and the problems were terrible that man is an electric guru, I can't say enough about the things that he did it was flipping awesome, thank you so much Bernard you are the man.

He researched and installed new weather stripping on our Renewal by Anderson windows. It was a bit more complicated than first thought but he and a helper got it done. Cleaned windows too. We had him back to work on a suspended ceiling with good results.

It was done extremely well, but not quite efficiently. He had some bumps in the project but was a perfectionist. He kept at it until he and I were both very pleased with the results. Very polite; very neat in cleaning up; easy to have around the house. He refinished a tabletop and it looks like a new table, even though refinishing wood is not his forte. Highly recommended!

Bernard was given $3300 by check on 7/16 to purchase materials because he said he couldn t afford the start up cost. He was supposed to be here multiple different days but had excuses for why he couldn t make it, some related to not having materials delivered, the weather, other jobs, etc., He finally came in 7/21 with another individual to demo the deck. They removed 4 boards and left. They have not returned, no materials have been delivered, and he is not responding. He refused to give a written or signed invoice. He refused to complete a contract for services.

He and his helper were very polite, easy to have in and around my home, and were dedicated to doing a great job. He kept us updated about his plans and worked until both he and i were pleased with the final result. The only negative I can mention is that the job took much longer than expected, partly because he was working on wood finishing, which is not his area of expertise. I respect him because he is a perfectionist who doesn’t quit!
