Initially great to work with. We needed exterior painted/stained. Hired to start July 2016. Two sides of house in great shape to paint. Another side needed boards replaced. Front needed some caulking and a few boards replaced. Mark thought front would be okay after pressure wash. But boards were still bowed and popped. They did not fix or replace. And several other things were addressed. Another board should have been replaced or caulked the holes in it. It is peeling...They did not finish job completely. He agreed to come back here this spring because of conflicts last fall and mentioned personal or personnel issues. The carpenter may not have been still available . Have tried contacting them in April and now May 2017. We have left about five messages but no response. Am disappointed that even a courtesy response to our messages have not been made. Would appreciate a callback.

Interior Painting or Staining: 3 - 4 Rooms
I hired M&A painting on 9/9/16 and paid them for 50% of project (Interior painting of house) for a agreed upon price. The project was to be completed in 2 and 1/2 weeks. I paid them in full on 9/29/16 in good faith before job was fully completed. (My mistake for sure) I'm still waiting for the job to be completed. On 10/14/16 it will be 5 weeks since project initial payment. I've called and texted numerous times trying to get project completed. Numerous times I have received texts stating that someone would be there to work on finishing the project. Still no site of anyone. I have called the last couple days leaving messages and nobody has had the courtesy to call me back. This is definitely out of character for me to write a bad review about anything but I have no other choice.

"Our company was going through some employee changes that needed to be addressed immediately. This employee was not showing on the job and fabricating time sheets. Unfortunately this problem arose on this job site. We fired the employee and took care of our customer. The owner was very happy, end result. At this time, both owners will be working on all job sites to make sure all work is handled appropriately and all work is 5 star rated."

M&A did a very good job in painting the house and staining the deck. Mark, especially, appeared to be very knowledgeable. When the job was apparently complete, I paid them. However, we found voids in the staining of the deck balusters. We also had a couple more jobs that we wanted them to do. However, they failed to return all e-mails and phone calls. It has been over a month since we first tried to contact them. Maybe Mark has fallen off a ladder and been killed? Well, maybe not, as he seems to keep his voice mailbox cleaned out.

"This issue was on going undetected from July 2016 in which a bad employee had taken advantage of this company's kindness. They had been given too much authority as well as the company's voice password to make sure any issues were handled immediately. That did not happen. This employee has since been terminated. We have made phone calls to this customer to have this unfortunate situation handled."

They were hired to paint the back of our house (aluminum siding)They were paid in full. House needed another coat of paint. Promised to come back....no returned phone calls, no returned e-mails. (We had even given them a tip.) The two checks were cashed immediately. They even posted 2 photos of our house (without our permission) on their website.

"This situation was discovered after the company hired a foreman to take charge of some company business. they were supposed to take care of completing this job while we (the owners) were working out of town for two weeks. Phone calls apparently made to the company phone were not handled as we were told were. This "foreman" was immediately terminated and this issue addressed."

All in all a spectacular experience, all work that was performed was excellent and exceeded my expectations. All work was done in a timely fashion and the quality was among the best. I have dealt with many contractors throughout the years and this is the first time i can honestly say thank you to Mark and Alan for a superb job. I would recommend M&A Painting to anyone!
