Marcus, Mike and Tino just completed work at our new home in Woodland Hills. They are exceptional craftsmen - thorough and professional. We bought our home knowing we needed to make our chimney/fireplace safe for use and code compliant. We spoke and met with all the top chimney experts in the area. Many were impersonal and too patronizing bordering on fear mongering for us to feel good about spending top dollars on them. Marcus impressed us with his calm, clear and professional demeanor. His wisdom demonstrated his expertise as both a technician and a real craftsman, which many of the others lacked. He also just felt like a real good human who respects his craft, the people he works with and the homes he services. I like to ask questions, lots of them, and I felt all my questions were respected and answered. Marcus, Mike and Tino restored the exterior brick of our chimney, braced our chimney, sealed the areas where the wall and chimney meet, rebuilt a section of our exterior wall that used to be a firewood storage area, rebuilt our firebox with a new blade damper and ash dump door, installed a gas log set, relined the flue, restored the crown, and did some cosmetic masonry on the exterior area of our fireplace. The work spanned three days. They were a pleasure to have in our home - so respectful, diligent, consistent, and as mentioned before professional and good people. I highly recommend them.
