Maple Leaf Lawn Care

Conscientious. Polite. Effective.

Would recommend Maple leaf lawn care. They were curtious and prompt. I would hire them again.

We hired him to mow and bag 20 acres. In providing the estimate, he was very prompt and professional. He also gave us a fair rate and promised confirmation when the job was finished (we live a couple states away from the land, hence the need to hire someone to do this). Everything was great for those first couple of weeks of communication. Then he had some personal health problems, and advised us that his foreman would finish the job. We had no problem with this, just wanted confirmation when the job got done. After a couple of promptings via email, communication spanning for over a month, we still never got a straight response from him on whether the job had been completed (admittedly, he continued to have health problems which would understandably make it difficult to keep up on everything himself - but no one from the business took over with communication with us, during those times) - so we drove up to see the land for ourselves. It turned out that only about 7 of the 20 acres had been mowed. After emailing the owner to advise him of this and ask for a partial refund, he was surprised - but after going out to the land himself to see, he agreed to refund us the amount we requested. Unfortunately, it took another approximately 6 weeks from the time we contacted him about wanting a refund to actually receiving the check. We did finally receive it, but went through a lot more hassle/allowed for much more time than should have been necessary to get it. Overall, he was professional and courteous, but we did not appreciate the fact that he (or his workers, in his absence) never confirmed the job was complete, and the fact that it took so long to receive a partial refund. If we had not made the 12 hour trip to check on the land ourselves, we probably never would have been told for sure that it was done. It was also difficult to know throughout the whole experience whether the excuses for the delays were legitimate, or if it was just because we live out of state and someone (either him, or his workers) along the line thought we would never know the difference. Either way, overall, we were disappointed.

Very professional. I originally called for drainage tile, he recommended me to another professional he had confidence in so I asked him about seeding lawns and he was able to provide a quote right away, and schedule/complete the work equally as fast. Very honest person to work with.

Tim and Zach were awesome! The initial contact and communication was very good. They arrived a little early and immediately got the job done! We were very impressed with the thorough clean and follow through. We would recommend them to anyone wanting tree trimming services as well as lawn care and clean up. We definitely plan on using them in the future for our needs!
