Not as professional as I'd expect a business to be. My first quote was written on the back of a business card as he tried to push a weight of carpet that I wasn't interested in. The second meeting was better despite taking several days to return a quote for service. The price was about $100 less than other carpet installers based on market research so I felt I got a great deal on carpet and plank vinyl flooring. I wasn't satisfied with the quality and timeliness of the work. A one day job turned into 2 days, plus Marcus having to come back to try and fix something that wasn't installed properly. Rather than take responsibility, the previous installer was to blame; however, as professionals, it wasn't (the transition piece from the wood floor to carpeted living area). I felt Marcus took no responsibility for the poor workmanship from his team. The installers were late on both days, which caused the job to end 2 days later, not including having to go back on the next day. The bathrooms were left a mess with debris and dirt left from removing the toilets and not cleaning upon completion. Marcus accepted the opportunity to complete the job; however, never did he offer an apology for any of its shortcomings. As a result, I was not happy with what started out as pleasant. I will note his response time in communicating, though he wasn't in sync with his installers and little to no communication between them. As for the quality and price, I was satisfied. I would NOT recommend this business unless you're not big on punctuality, professionalism and have time to take control in the absence of the manager.

I'd hire this crew again in a second! They were very easy to work with, responded quickly, and did great work! The new carpet and thresholds look fantastic. A bit more clean up and quick vacuum would boost them from a 4.5 to 5 on quality--but otherwise, they were great!

After working with myself and my real estate agent he helped me select the appropriate color, type and quality of carpet and scheduled and performed the installation within the specified time and cost quoted. Marcus Carpets and Flooring Service did great work. They carpeted 4 rooms, they removed and discarded the old carpet and cleaned up after themselves. Throughout the planning phase Marc was very responsive to both call and text messages. After the job was completed he followed up with me to make sure everything was in order and that I like the floor. The day of install I was not able to be there but my husband was. I thought it was a nice touch for him to call and follow up. We have a few other flooring job that we know we will call them for. Marcus Carpets and Flooring Service hizo un gran trabajo.
