Great Customer Service

I hired Mark Jones to seal my 3000+/- sq. ft. Driveway due to his reviews on Home Advisor. I did all the prep work, trimming the grass back from the edges of the driveway, filling all the cracks, masking off the seal coat limit at the end of my driveway where it meet s the County road. I recently finished a project at the end of my driveway where it meets my Garage. The project involved building a 30' X 40' elevated parking area retaining wall where multiple vehicles can park and also allow for turning around without getting into the yard. I did all the work myself as I supervise engineering Maintenance Employees for Americas Railroad. The construction was built from premium Marine Grade timbers and posts. The pride taken in the construction is quite evident to anyone who sees it. Mark looked at the wall and commented that he would cut the area in with a brush so as to not get any of the black sealer on my new Wall. Being satisfied that Mark did not need any supervision to do a quality job I paid Mark and my wife and I left home for awhile. when we returned home Mark and his son had completed their work and were gone. The driveway looked good. The application of the sealer was consistent and the work appeared initially to be clean. To the contrary, when we got to the parking area where my new wall was I was appalled to see that he or his son had sealer 1 to 2 inches up on my brand new wall. I couldn't believe that he did this or allowed his son to do this. And to think I gave him a 20 dollar bill as a tip for his son. I am totally upset about the lack of concern and pride that was taken for something that I spent a lot of time, money and pride to construct. I sent Mark a text on Saturday explaining how upset I was and that I couldn't believe that he left my wall in that condition. He didn't even had the courtesy of a response. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MARK JONES TO ANYONE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He talks a good line but the proof is in the finished product!!!

Mark did a fantastic job sealing our driveway. He provided documentation on all the materials he was using and fully explained the process. The work was very well done and drastically improved the look of our driveway. Additional note: despite Mark carefully taping the area to avoid anyone walking, driving, etc. on the surface prior to the dry time, one of the neighborhood children rode a scooter on it 15 min after he left. He was contacted, immediately came back, and cleaned up the sidewalk and is planning on coming back to repair the scooter marks. Excellent customer service! Would highly recommend him.

All i can say Great Price and Excellent job done, Mark is very Professional came by on Saturday to give me and Estimate and the Price was Right and got the job done the next day Sunday and i and very pleased with the Seal Coat on my driveway, Looks nice and clean and Almost New, I got several estimates from other Seal Coating contractors and they all very extremely Inflated and Mark Jones Paving was the best, you wont be Disappointed.

Mark did a nice neat professional job.There was a small issue with the finished product so I called Mark once and he came out and corrected it. The best part of my experience with MJP was dealing with an owner operator that took pride in his work.

It seems like the seal coating job was rushed. The surface was not cleaned properly in several areas. Seal coating flaked off after a couple days in these spots. I specifically asked for cracks to be filled. Only 1 of 4 was done. Mark didn't seem eager to fix these mistakes. Sorry, will not be using again.

Mark did an excellent job on our driveway. He even pointed out some "trouble" spots where the asphalt may not dry correctly due to the condition of some areas of the driveway. He told us to inform him when this happens so that he then come out and then do the next step to complete this area, which he said that he would do at no extra cost.
