Mark Warfel Construction was hired to perform over $40,000 of restoration work on my home which included services of drywall and trim installation/painting, tub/toilet installation interior/exterior door installation, tile and vinyl plank flooring installation, tub surround tile installation and a complete renovation of a shower. Drywall, trim, paint, tub/toilet install, vinyl flooring work was performed satisfactorially. Doors installed good except have to fidget with door handle and deadbolt locks (frustrating). Tub surround tile good. Upstairs shower floor flexes and grout is broken and color is uneven. Downstairs shower renovation turned out terrible. Shower floor does not drain correctly causing puddles that have to evaporate. Shower wall tile is not evenly spaced, grout color is not consistent, and tiles surfaces are not flat or smooth. Shower is leaking water onto living room vinyl plank flooring thru partition wall. Mold/mildew evident at seams of flooring now. Mark Warfel is not responding to email or voice messages. Left job in an unsatisfactory state. I guess my next course of action is to hire another contrator to straighten out the unresolved issues and try to recover the cost from Mark Warfel.

Mark and his crew built stairs to my stilt home. The workmanship is very good and they were sure not to inconvenience us by timing the demolition of the old stairs and building of the new one so that we could get our dog downstairs as needed--very thoughtful and efficient workers. I'm pleased with the result.

I hired Mark Warfel to convert our bathtub unit to a walk-in shower, to install a high toilet, to tile the backsplash of the bathroom sink as well as install a new faucet, and to do a few other miscellaneous jobs around the house. The shower was also completely and beautifully tiled! Mark and his crew were capable, courteous, honest, and dedicated to doing the best job possible with such attention to detail. They were careful to protect the surrounding areas in my home and also left the work area clean and neat at the end of each day. I would absolutely give them an A+ in all areas and would recommend them highly!!!
