Due to the installation of two new HVAC units, I needed to take down the existing brick lattice wall that surrounded the older units. The new HVAC units required more space which meant the concrete pad needed to be extended. I contacted Mark by phone and spoke to him about the project. We settled on a time to meet the next day. Mark arrived on time and made a good impression. The project required the removal of the existing wall, saving and cleaning the existing brick, pouring an additional concrete pad, matching and purchasing additional bricks and reinstalling the wall. Mark, and his wife, carefully took down the existing wall, saving all but two bricks for reuse. The bricks were cleaned and neatly stacked. A couple of bricks were taken to his brick supplier, and they were able to match my 25-year-old brick to newer brick. Mark rebuilt the wall better than the original wall. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. Mark delivered on his promises which included the quality and timing of his work.

I received a voice mail from Mark Wayne, and I replied with a text showing him pictures of my cracked brick retaining wall. I NEVER HEARD ANYTHING MORE FROM HIM.

We hired Mark to do a brick patio in our back yard. This was not a simple job- he had to raise the ground up, bring in gravel to backfill, make everything level, and then start laying brick. We got quotes from 3 different people and Marks was the most reasonable and he had the best plan for how to proceed. Not only did he respond quickly to a quote, but he was also out to do the job the same week. He was responsive to our concerns and went out of his way to make sure it was how we wanted it. We could not be happier with his work. If you are looking to get brick/stonework done and are thinking of contacting someone else, I would say cancel them and hire Mark Wayne. I do not think you will regret it.

Mark installed flagstone on our front walkway and porch deck as well as made various brick repairs. We have received numerous positive comments from friends, neighbors and several contractors visiting our home for remodeling quotes. He was prompt, courteous and did the work as specified.

Mark arrived promptly on time and started work immediately.He identified and explained what work needed to be done and provided a very reasonable price to repair both the brick trim around al front concrete porch as well replace the block wall supporting the old damaged brick trim as well as the block holding up the concrete deck Mark worked tirelessly until all work was completed and thoroughly cleaned up afterward. The reason I engaged Mark Wayne to reconstruct a leaning and cracked retaining wall was a direct result of his excellent work on another retaining wall he repaired for me three years ago. There were many deficiencies in the original construction of both walls. Mark ensured that basic engineering applications were adhered to. He made sure that the concrete blocks were properly tied in; rebar was inserted in the block, secured with concrete and adequate drain or weep holes where established. The brick veneer was properly anchored to the concrete blocks ensuring that the bricks would not separate from the concrete blocks. He backfilled the wall and cleaned up the work site. I am extremely satisfied with both retaining walls and would highly recommend Mark for masonry work. The quality of his work far exceeds the price he charged.
