Markley's Property Services

This contractor gave us the cheapest price for the job, and you get what you pay for. The quality of the job was not good, and he was very reluctant to make repairs to an obviously botched first attempt. We were told that the room would be ready to paint when he was finished. It was not. I would not recommend this contractor. If you do decide to hire him, be sure that you have a very specific contract before he begins work.

I had paid for removal of material and a lot of the material was left in my home for me to lug down the stairs and throw away myself also had a light fixture in the bathroom that was pulled out by a guy and not put back in called the guy in charge said he would come out that monday to fix and never called never herd from the guy again

DO NOT HIRE MARKLEYS PROPERTY SERVICES! Wayne and his crew could not follow instructions and have zero craftsmanship skills. I strongly urge you NOT to hire him. After screwing up 2 simple projects, I fired him and he kept my deposit for work he did not complete. I am taking him to small claims court as he refuses to give me back $1050. If I could, I would rated him with negative stars but a half star was the lowest. DO NOT HIRE MARKLEYS PROPERTY SERVICES! DO NOT HIRE MARKLEYS PROPERTY SERVICES! DO NOT HIRE MARKLEYS PROPERTY SERVICES!

Markley's bid was lower than several others I got, by about a third. Wayne and the crew were on time and professional. And for the most part, the quality of the drywall finishing was good. However, there were a few details that left me a little disappointed. Some of the outside corners were finished with metal corner bead, but others were finished with fiberglass mesh tape, resulting in less than crisp corners, even after priming and painting. And on 3 or 4 spots on the ceilings and walls the tape pulled away after I painted to reveal minor cracks (24"+) that detract from the finished look.

Wayne and his crew showed up on the date I chose to have my deck with steps installed. They were here and in about 5 hrs they had the project completed and I am now enjoying a deck where I can sit out and enjoy the nice weather. I will be having Wayne back to do me a front porch and also to weatherize and treat the new deck he just installed. Thank you Guys for the job well done!!!!!

The owner seemed very capable and knowledgeable and what he did was satisfactory - but his employee who did most of the work was sloppy, careless and frankly should have been supervised - they came back several times and I realized it was not worth it - they tried to correct the work but failed - I will redo it but am very disappointed in the job done .

Wayne and crew did a great job building our deck. The work was done professionally and on time. I would recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

great value for the price. eager to get started and did great work!

He not only build us a beautiful porch he also did and outstanding job painting our moble home.

The end result was exactly what I expected, but I thought the workers put in awfully short days and always seemed rushed like they needed to be somewhere else. The job took a day longer than originally proposed.

Wayne was fast to come to my home to see what i wanted done - work was started when he said it would - project was completed in one day, as promised . Very nice to work with

Fast awesome and professional service!!!!!!

Never met anyone personally. Handled professionally via email only, and saved me many times the cost of the service given the value of property tax adjustment and it just accumulates more money for me year after year until the market changes. Glad I did it, and I'm pretty critical of these service professionals, normally.

The person who did the majority of the painting needs improvement. The boss of the company had to come back and tidy up the job on the third try.

Very professional, timely and high quality work. Would definitely use again, and would recommend to others.

I am totally impressed and relieved. Impressed with Wayne Markley & crew, both as tradesmen and gentlemen. Relieved that we found someone we can trust. I look forward to working with you again...actually I can't wait to start the next project!

I have used several different handyman service for my rental property over the years and now that I have found Markleys I never have to use any other again. Their work was performed with quality and a true caring for the customer. professionalism at the highest level!!

Work was done to our satisfaction. They were very particular about how the work was done. Everything was done in a timely fashion.Workers were friendly and courteous. We're very pleased.

Did a great job good price

I work for Krud Kutter, Inc. We make environmentally safe cleaners. We had a complaint that one of our products ruined the vinyl siding on their house in PA, and I needed a set of eyes. Wayne Markley was very professional, honest and reasonable. He met our sales rep. at the customer's house and completed a full inspection. Wayne sent us pictures of our product actually bringing the vinyl back to it's original state. Wayne sent us a full statement of his findings, and also agreed to go to court on our behalf if it comes to that. Wayne did a great job and we really appreciate his flexibility and professional behavior. He's good!

I went with Markley's. NOBODY!! Could beat their price, I was impressed with the quality of work. And the guidance I needed. Wayne went out of his way to help me. I will always be thankful. And I will be using him again. I have had contractors in the past to do work, but sorry to say their work was a temporary fix, And the next project that I am having done, I was told, I won't have to worry about it in my lifetime. His number is programmed in my phone. I will not use anybody else!!!! Thank you, Donna S

Quality workmanship. Fair price.
