Just kicked off a major remodel and addition project with Marks-Woods. The whole team has been easy to work with; their up-front project planning was top notch and a major reason we picked them over the competition, even at a slightly higher price point.

Marks-Woods Construction just finished a multi-part project on our home including a full kitchen remodel, adding a full bath and storage area to our basement, a mudroom addition and a portico. The design process at the beginning helped to expand on our initial ideas and Danielle was great at offering suggestions that we never would have thought of. This step saved us time and helped us avoid regrets we would have had without having Danielle's expertise. Greg did a nice job working though the architectural details and permitting. Our project manager was Drew and he was great to work with throughout the entire process. We had an issue with our backslash and he worked with the supplier to replace it with something more in line with our expectations. Despite a variety of projects, we had a consistent crew with dependable, courteous workers who always created a great end product and kept work areas clean. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again for future renovations.

We just finished a large remodel with Marks-Woods, including a new master suite/garage addition, kitchen expansion/renovation, and multiple other updates. It was basically a whole house remodel. We are thrilled with our choice to work with Marks-Woods! They were wonderful to work with, and gave us a finished product that is just spectacular (on schedule, no less). Greg was great about coordinating with our architect during the initial design phase, and helping us know what set their company apart. The designers were easy to work with, open to my ideas, and brought great ideas to the table. Drew was our project manager, and we feel like he's the best in the business. He communicates clearly, listens to concerns, keeps the work moving forward, and knows his stuff. Unexpected things will always come up in construction, but how your contractor handles those things, is the real hallmark of a great company. Drew and his guys were amazing at dealing with those things. They made sure I was 1000% happy with the work. They went to bat for us when a supplier was giving us issues, and always went the extra mile to make sure our project would be top notch. Our house is incredible, and we would absolutely go to Marks-Woods again in the future for any projects. Can't recommend them highly enough!

I hired MW Construction to renovate my kitchen in my condo. The job consisted of building a wall to create a pantry/laundry room, replacing and adding new cabinets, and replacing the countertop. Greg Marks was great every step of the way. He was always with me when picking out materials, and always came with ideas. He was also considerate about the budget and made many recommendations to get nice materials at a reasonable cost. The site foreman was equally as helpful and always stayed in contact with me. In addition, the workers were clean, courteous, and quiet.

MW Construction did a great job on our addition. We basically popped the top of our 1920's bungalow....added a big master bedroom, expanded the bathroom, added a balcony and a covered back porch. He has several different crews that work for him. Some of his crews are just outstanding. However, we weren't too impressed with his electrician. Other than that, the place looks great!! We can't believe we waited so long to get the work done. Drew, the project manager is friendly and easy to deal with. We would highly recommend MW construction to others!

Overall, MW Construction is a good company that did a solid job, eventually! The design phase was well-executed, including giving me access to a cabinet designer and interior decorator. Mr. Greg Marks was very knowledgeable about materials, technologies, options, and design features. My only major complaint is that the project took months when it should have only taken weeks--I have a small kitchen in an apartment. I signed a contract in late September but the work was not completed until late January, missing several deadlines. Use them, but not for time sensitive projects!

We are very pleased with our new kitchen! MW Construction did a great job. Their workers are very neat and courteous -- they always cleaned up after they finished for the day. Sometimes we weren't even sure they'd been there until we noticed new work! Plus, Greg Marks did an excellent job of walking us through the project every step of the way. Five stars!

This project involved flooring, walls, back splash, countertop, cabinet, and lighting. Company came when stated, and fixed any problems found along the way.

MW Construction did a kitchen, half bath, and dining room remodel. They were professional stayed within there estimate and on time. They helped pick out cabinets, granite, and floors. I would use them again if I had another remodeling job,

MW did a great job on our kitchen remodel. They took the time to help us plan the whole project, and made sure every step was to our agreement and satisfaction. When a few mishaps occurred (as they always do). MW made sure to remedy the situation and make everything right. I would highly recommend MW to anyone for their construction needs.

This was a full kitchen renovation: full gut and redesign. MW promptly made an appointment, provided a proposed working budget and design, worked with us to tweak the plan. MW went with us to the major vendors so we were always on the same page of the plan. (The vendors MW recommends were just as reliable as MW). Each selection's pirce was compared to the budget we agreed to, and because MW took advantage of their vendors' sales we upgraded our appliances and still came in at budget if not a bit below. Our project manager came around 1-2 times a day to insure work was to his/our satisfaction. The project was completed on time.

Right from the start it was a pleasure to work with Greg and as the project went forward Dyer was on the job to make sure every thing was going well. My project was to redo my kitchen everything except the cabinets.Everything was scheduled and installed on time with excellent workmanship, The workmen were very plesant to be around and showed much skill and pride in their work, always making sure every detail was just prefect. The kitchen is now a show place in our home. What a great job, Thanks to MW Construction and their fine crews.Great job Guys. Job completed well within the budget.

The project went amazingly well from start to finish. The operations manager is amazing. He is very responsive and accommodating. He went with me to pick out tile, etc. From day one I was comfortable with MW's employees. They have their own employees. The guys were very, very polite and very clean. I got stuck out of town during Sandy and they checked on the house for me, fixed my fence that was knocked down by a tree limb. My main contact was stuck out of town also so the other guys filled in during this time.

MW Construction is without a doubt a top remodeling and home construction company! We had major work that had to be done, with adding a fifth bedroom above our family room and finishing our basement to include a media room and exercise room. Workmanship was even better then our highest expectations, communication was clear, price was reasonable, and we could not be happier with the result. Simply put, they should be your first choice, they are definitely ours!

We used MW Construction for a roofing repair and bedroom remodel project and will be using MW Construction for our other home projects in the very near future! Excellent contractor! Yes, I would contract with MW Construction LLC again! Work included a complete kitchen remodel, new hardwood floors in family room, master bedroom and study installed, sanded and finished to high quality, drywall skimming and painting of five rooms and three hallways, new Hardiplank siding, soffit and trim and finally a decking replacement with Trex. All employees and subcontractors were first class and very respectful of our home! This is my third major home remodel and the experience with using MW Construction LLC was the best!

MW Construction did a terrific job with our kitchen. We have received so many compliments on how it turned out. Greg was easy to work with and the best project manager I've worked with for our home improvement projects. I would highly recommend them. I only wish I had found them sooner for my previous projects because the quality and service was superior to other contractors we've hired. They stayed within budget and was respectful of our wishes throughout the project. They have been responsive to minor fixes requested since completion of the project.

MW completely remodeled our kitchen, master bath, full bath, and powder room within the originally estimated time (10 weeks). We are completely satisfied and pleased by the quality and value we received. MW and we maintained excellent communication and mutual respect during the project, and we avoided surprises. From the very beginning, MW helped us with our decision making, treated us fairly, and delivered everything we were promised. MW connected us with a terrific kitchen/bath designer (Sam) at Home Depot, and they helped us select design solutions at The Tile Shop and at Dulles Glass. We enjoy the new look of our home. It was comfortable working with MW�s personnel. We appreciated their attention to details, large and small, in getting the project done well. MW�s crew was properly skilled, diligent, and customer oriented. Key members of MW�s crew are skilled craftsmen, and the crew worked well as a team. We would welcome an opportunity to employ MW for future projects.

I had half of a fairly large laundry room turned into a bathroom(with shower) and a hallway. I Had a number of companies come out and MW Construction impressed me by their quick response, a detailed contract, and their reasonable pricing. I felt Greg and his crew were always professional, couteous, and diligent. They had Great communication. They were Flexible with changes and did additional work as needed. I would absolutely recommend MW Construction and I also plan to use them in the future.

We highly recommend MW construction; they did an outstanding job remodeling our kitchen. They were extremely helpful & easy to work with; all the way from the planning phase to the completed product. During the remodeling we made several changes to our original plan. This was never a problem for Greg or Drew, they were very accommodating. They are very professional and meticulous in their work. The finished product was better than what we envisioned. We would highly recommend them and are already planning to use them again for our next project.

Mr. Greg Marks was a pleasure to deal with. I have had other contractors who performed jobs for me but none came close to the professionalism of MW Construction. The crew respected my home, kept things clean and was very extremely respectful. Timelines were met and pricing was reasonable. I plan to use MW Construction on my next job.
