Marquis Tree Service, Inc.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY I recently contracted Marquis Tree Service to grind three tree stumps, and the experience was nothing short of a disaster. The scheduling process is utterly deplorable. The contract provided no set date for the work, with the vague promise of a call "the day before" to inform us of your arrival. This lack of transparency makes it impossible to plan follow-up work or manage time effectively, as we?re left at the mercy of Marquis Tree Service arbitrary scheduling. To make matters worse, when Marquis Tree Service team finally provided a date and time, I rearranged my entire schedule and canceled other commitments to accommodate then. They failed to show up and didn?t even have the courtesy to call and inform us. When we reached out to address this issue, the owner, John, had the audacity to act offended by our frustration. This dumbass thought that raising his voice and offering a half-hearted ?sorry? would somehow make amends for their incompetence.

prompt service

It was a large job and I am very pleased with the results. They were able to fit me into the schedule shortly after I received the estimate. That is probably not always possible. The estimate was slightly higher than other estimates I got, but I felt that they would do the most thorough job, and they were able to schedule the work soonest. I would use their services again, and highly recommend them to others.

I took a couple of weeks longer than I hoped to get it done. A lot of bad weather backed them up. I would have liked better communication form the home office on status, but when they did come, they were effecient, neat and professional. the job was done as promised, they left my property neat and clean.

Excellent service and communication. They came when they said they would and left no trace of their visit (except the offending tree was gone).

Great Job. Reasonable Price. Office manager keeps you updated and responds to your calls. Would certainly use Marquis Tree Service again.

Marquis was the only Tree Service around to be able to provide both - trimming/cutting of large bushes AND large tree cutting in a very tight area. The team was very efficient and left the whole area clean before they left. A bit pricey, but well worth the years of experience and knowledge of the field.

I really like this company because of their professionalism. They go beyond what they initially purpose and unlike their competitors are very prompt in getting out a quote and providing the service. I have recommended Marquis to family and neighbors.

i did not go with them for the work - but appreciated the quick response and professionalism

They estimated the job promptly. They sent a written estimate and contract. They came to do the work when they said. The job was done professionally including sweeping the sawdust off my driveway. The guys were pleasant and had precise instructions from the home office. What's not to like???!!!

great staff - very neat and clean up was terrific!

Excellent job. Worked with me to be sure the pruning was does according to plan. Clean up was thorough.

Good work. Went beyond originally discussed.

I hired Marquis to cut 2 big Pine tree behind my house, they arrived on time, and were done really fast, the efficiency was amazing; I was mesmerized, how fast and organized they were. I would definitely use and recommend them to anyone that asked. Thanks Marquis Group, I really appreciate your work.

He came and gave me a price,we planed the job for a certain date,he came on that date did a great job, cleaned up before he left.Very professional.

Excellent service. Had to make a change to initial job over the phone, they called back to make sure what they were seeing was what we wanted. Would use them again and recommend them to a friend.

fairly priced and work done in a timely manner

They did a great job. The job was done in winter so required snow removal the day before. All 6 trees were removed the same day and the price was resonable comparred to the other quotes we got.

Excellent job. Extremely professional and courteous. Good value. Highly recommend

they came and took down our trees in a timely manner. they did a great job for a reasonable price

They gave us an estimate in a timely manner, came and did the work within a couple of weeks of being notified that they had been given the work, gave advice on what to do about several other trees in our yard. The workers were very neat and tidied up after themselves, but basically trampled the plantings at the base of the tree. Overall, I'm satisfied with the work they did.

good experience

Marquis was at our house 20 minutes after receiving our afternoon call about a huge tree limb that fell on our roof, and gave us an estimate for the job. They removed the limb the first thing the next morning. They were great! Clean up was perfect and we were back to normal much sooner than we expected. They took care of a distressing situation quickly and effectively.

They did a good job removing my over 80 feet tall tree. Very efficient and did a good job cleaning up. The only downside was that it took a month between our initial contact and finally got the tree down. I guess they were busy.

They did a great job with a tricky situation in which they had to back a crane, a chipper, and a log truck down my neighbor's hill to access our back yard. They were friendly, worked safely and quickly, and were there for most of the day. Very dedicated and careful.
