Chain Link Fence Installation
Job not finished, phone calls not returned at this point, paid in full, requests for a receipt ignored, my dog walked right out of the fencing when told he could go out. Worker left nearly two weeks ago to get supplies and never returned. Job is still not done. I have masonry blocks piled up where dog escaped through 18 to 24 inch gap between fence and garage...left a mess including dangerous pieces of metal. Fence itself has unfinished and unsecured and loose areas with excess fencing sticking up at top. Reporting to BBB and taking any and all legal recourse.

Wood Fence Repair
Mike contacted me quickly and came out to give me an estimate within a day. I had my estimate the next day and his crew was able to complete the job by the weekend. His crew was courteous and very competent. I would highly recommend marsh Landscaping for other projects and, in fact, i plan to have Mike return in the spring to complete some landscaping for me.

My experience with Marsh Landscape was a pleasant one. They did the work as stated in the verbal contract and cleaned up when they left. They did show up to the job 45 minutes later than they stated but I was happy with their overall job performance. I would and have recommended them to other people.

Landscape - Install Landscaping for Yard or Garden
Marsh did provide a low bid, responded quickly and seemed enthusiastic. HOWEVER, the service was provided in a slipshod way by the person who they sent to transplant 5 rather large plants. He did not seem to understand what he was doing the the root balls he removed apparently were too small for the plant to survive. We have lost 4 of the 5 and Marsh has been non-responsive to my request for replacement or compensation. He also was paid to spray for invasive insects on our evergreens and had to be called repeatedly to follow through, and although they reported doing the work, there was no evidence they had been there. DO NOT HIRE.

"This work was done exactly how it was sold. Customer was made well aware that there is NO garuntee on any transplanted material. This customer did not contact me until more than one year after to tell me about the the transplanted materials decline, this could have been from lack of water or one of many other reasons why a transplanted shrub would decline and die after transplanting."

Brick and Stone Patios, Walks, and Steps - Install
Mike Marsh is very forgetfuul. He says that he was just busy I waited for months for his crew to return and fix the sunken bricks. The crew took shortcuts by filling the pit with sand insted of using gravel and compact that. Up to 6 incees of sand on a sloped driveway. The crew had to come back and raise the sunken bricks and they just re-filled it with sand again, laid the bricks with no level. I repeatedly asked them to build the base up with gravel, just like the book states, to little use. Instead took offense over me asking why he was filling up with sand again, the crewman took offense at me asking and watching his work. Broken bricks,

"Mr. Haper above was very plese with all work complete at his home. 2 weeks after completion he had a roofing crew parking trailers and dump trucks on his brand new driveway. He was not happy with how long it took for us to come fix the driveway apx(2 weeks) from his original phone call. We werent responsible but helped mr harper as we felt it was the right thing to do and did not charge him..."

Tree Trimming
Marsh Landscape Service removed two trees from my property. They were able to do the job sooner than I expected, they did a good job and left no mess. Contacts with the company were prompt and professional, and the price was reasonable. I will definitely call them when I am ready for a deck in the back yard.

My job involved felling a river birch that had grown in the midst of power and communication lines. The climber worked from a ladder and was not tied in, so falling branches brought down an electric wire and two cable lines. Mike made good on the electrician charge. If I had to do the job again, I would take down all the wires in advance. That would have made taking down the tree a lot easier. Live and learn.

Snow Removal
They took me on as a customer on the basis of one phone call and were familiar with my neighborhood. Their cost is half of that of the competition and on the one occasion I have called them they plowed my driveway within 12 hours of my first call, on the first real snowfall this season.

Mike really seems to care about the work he does! They did a good job ! I originally wanted to cut my tree down but Mike convinced me to just trim it . I saved money or an already good price and am very happy with the results! I will call him for any furture projects that I have.

Over half of a large tree in my front yard came down in a wind-storm. I called numerous tree removal services and only 1 came to quote (and that quote was extremely high). Marsh responded to my service request immediately and were able to quote and remove the tree the next day for a reasonable price. They did an excellent job!

Interlocking Pavers for Driveways & Floors - Install
Originally, I called Mike for an estimate on a paver patio, but found out that he could also install a fence in our back yard and reconfigure the back steps to meet the patio. Mike's estimate was quite reasonable and he was able to start the job the following week. We are thrilled with our new patio and it is wonderful having a fenced in back yard. On top of that, Mike and his crew were able to do the job in less than a week.

The work that was completed was satisfactory. I was not at home when it was completed and they missed removing a stump that was estimated. I called them back and was assured that it would be removed. The company came back but still have not removed the stump. The bill has been paid in full and I believe the stump will never be removed.
