Beware of Barry (Rusty) Marshall. I tried to save a few bucks using him, which was a huge mistake. Rusty talks a good game, but does not deliver. The work on my mothers house in Gibsonville started quickly, but then everyone disappeared after a week or so. I had complained many times to get the work started again. Rusty uses help that is not professional (like his son as a painter who is also unreliable). Frankly, many of the subs did not seem to know what they were doing. He does not pay his sub-contractors. They asked me for money and complained about Rusty. After many irate phone calls and conversations with Rusty, I had to kick him off the job with the work unfinished. The work was almost completely paid for, but I had to employ others to finish it. Examples of problems Rusty left: new doors that blow open, damaged drywall around the new doors, cut electrical wires that were not fixed, rotten wood that was not replaced, mismatched siding, missing caulk all over the exterior, inoperable outdoor faucet, missing trim around exterior doors, doors that would not open after Rusty fixed them. I just hope I do not have serious problems in the future. For example, I found where Rusty guys had removed rotten wood from the house and reused it elsewhere. Who knows what issues he covered up or caused that I have not discovered yet?

Do not recommend. Sent someone else to do the work. Took 2 months to do a small 5 x 7 bathroom. Only showed up a couple of days a week. Didnâ t finish the job. Wouldnâ t return our calls.
