I was in the process of selling my home and, in order to satisfy my end of the contract and close the deal, I needed to repair a cracked window pane, an expensive task probably requiring the entire replacement of a vinyl-framed window. I was referred to a regional company, but a close friend also referred Martin McCrory at â RenoVision.â I called both and Martin was able to show up to our house on very short notice (he arrived the morning after being notified the night before- the larger, regional, â preferredâ competitor only said a service rep would call 30 minutes prior to arriving, â sometime on his way home,â in the next two days. That guy showed up- without calling- late afternoon, as Martin was finishing up the job!). His integrity was beyond reproach and after a short study, advised that he might have difficulty doing it, since he mostly worked in entire wooden-frame window installation, but would research solutions. His clear intent was to not waste our time OR our money; many others are willing to waste one to make up the other. After some initial study & pricing, Martin returned the next day with a potential solution. Instead of replacing the entire window, very expensively, as I was informed by others, Martin found that he was able to simply (and effectively) remove the broken pane, replace and seal in a single, new pane. He did all of this work- estimate, safe glass removal, pane replacement, and clean up- in about four hours AND he showed me his materials receipt. Martinâ s integrity, commitment to quality service, willing and innovative spirit saved us about $370 in materials and a month and a half of waiting for material delivery on a critical and time-sensitive job. Thank you Martin!! My only reason for the 4.5 stars is that he was new to this specific task and I can only imagine he will improve in proficiency going forward- job well done.
