I tried to do it myself, but without the proper tools the work would have literally hurt myself. At 69 I have no business digging around stumps to cut away. After 1/2 the morning I had to throw in the towel. towel. As I was taking a break, thinking about this formidable task, I searched the web for a stump grinding company. Having seen referral services before, such as Home Advisor, Angie, Yelp, I selected one and chose their top recommendation, Blue Oak Tree Services. The owner called me within minutes and said he could swing by within the hour to give me a quote. Price was reasonable and in retrospect cheap considering what I was up against, 11 cypress tree stumps positioned around the pool, with a few in the front yard. If my memory serves me right, his name is Jose. He showed up on time a couple days later with a stump grinder and a helper and within 2 hours had cleaned up and on his way. What a relief that was. I would have hired him to cut the cypress down if met earlier.

Jose and his team were very responsive and did a great job. They trimmed and removed dead branches from a couple of trees in our yard, and cut back a neighbor's hedge from our roof. They were very efficient and reasonably priced. I will definitely use their services in the future.

We got so many quotes, and this company helped us big time. They were the most reasonable price and the fastest to respond. They’re licensed and insured, did an amazing job, and cleaned everything up so well after. Super professional from start to finish.
