Beautiful work! We had a large job and one guy came and started the job. Two guys finished the job. There were a couple of delays with getting the job completed, but the guys do quality work. It was more expensive than the price quoted by Home Advisors, but we are happy with the results.

If I could give Martinez Paint Co zero stars, I would. Hands down the most unprofessional person and lousy service. The Martinez Paint Co would take days to return calls/texts. Twice they set up an appt and failed to show up. The first time the owner texted me at 10:15pm the night before services were scheduled and stated that they would be late for the 9am appt. When I asked when I should expect them to arrive he stated between 12-1pm. At 2pm I called. They stated they were still delayed. About 4pm they canceled and wanted to reschedule for the following day. I informed them, like I have previously, that my husband works night shift and I couldn?t have someone doing repairs while he?s sleeping. We ended up rescheduling for the following week. I was quoted $1000 and 3 DAYS for repairs. When the tech was supposed to arrive, the owner stated their car was towed and his phone was stolen, etc. I felt like this was just a bunch of excuses at that point. Eventually someone else showed up. He was very polite, but sloppy. No drop cloth was used, so there was paint dropped into the grout on my tiles as well as on my carpet. They also declined to do the tile replacement, 2 weeks after I sent photos. Stating they would have to tear up all of the tile in order to fix the few that needed repair. I also felt like they likely didn?t know how to complete this task. All in all, it took the tech 2.5 hours to complete the repairs. If the labor was 3 days, I would completely understand why the cost would be so high. But these were VERY basic repairs. All that was done was plaster rubbed over the tape and nails as well as a small amount of texture being added. The owner refused to take the price down even after the repairs were completed and my dissatisfaction was apparent. He stated that he would take off $30 for the tile since that wasn?t ?really any work.? But he had no problem spiking up the charge when I asked for them to do it. I wish I had never used this company.

Not reliable .

After hiring a different paint company (or a one man show) that took one week to paint just one wall we had to call in a professional. Julian and his team came in and painted an entire room within 4 hours. No splotches & No spills. We should have hired him for the entire project. I highly recommend Martinez Paint Co!

Price haggling and drama. I would not trust these folks in my home again.

Twice as expensive as the two rooms for $400 that Home Advisor â  quotedâ  . Scheduled to start on Monday at 0930. They called to tell me that they had had to pick up tools in Austin. By 1030 not there. Project start date moved to Tuesday. No show on Wednesday. Supervisor came and finished the job. Quality is excellent. Communication and reliability are not.

It was a very bad experience, I am filing a complaint with the BBB. The couple that actually did the work were very nice, Mr Martinez is a money-grubber. I provided all the painting supplies. The room needed drywall repair and popcorn ceiling removal. He quoted me a price of $2,000, which I thought was very high, but I made the mistake of telling him that I was under a time crunch, Big mistake. Halfway through the job, he told me that I owed another $800. I was angry so he acted like he was doing me a big favor and reduced it to another $500 instead. I am a senior citizen. My daughter is extremely upset at all this. She is correct in saying he took advantage. It was a learning experience. The room needs touching up but no way is he coming back to my home. I give his company an F-.

The owner was very unprofessional and frequently got in yelling fights with me telling me I was wrong(when I had screenshots of our conversations). Constantly over-promising and under-delivering. Was told the project would take four days. Workers skipped basic steps, such as any form of prep work and painted in backward order(painted walls then ceilings then sprayed trim). Making the job harder on themselves and take much longer. I constantly tried to contact the owner to have corrections made. After two weeks the project was getting worse instead of better. After three different crews, and three weeks of work I finally cut ties with the company and employees altogether. House still was never completely finished. But it was no longer worth my time, money, or energy.

From the start, this company makes sure customer service is top priority. Julian checks on his team throughout the project. The team is very courtesy and professional. They are very proud of their work and will make sure the customer is satisfied. The prep work was great, the paint of my entire exterior was superior. The Team was the BEST!!! I highly recommend

I really appreciated the quality of the work and the friendliness of the employees. They were diligent, time effective, and worked continually and steadily until the project was complete. They requested feedback throughout the project to ensure that they were meeting our expectations. I recommend them highly, not only for their painting expertise but also for their ability to communicate and to receive instruction.

Just keep an open communication with the contractor and be willing to give and take.

I highly recommend them for anything painting related! They take care of everything! They knocked it out of the park!

They have a great attitude and do a great job!
