Reviews
Write a ReviewHis employee went beyond all expectations by cutting and replacing a little ceramic tile and figured out the best way to remove the old washer - took him over 2 hours of HARD labor. Did a magnificent job of installing the new dishwasherand replacing the tiles that had to be removed. Set the tiles so that if we ever have to replace the dishwasher again, the tiles can be removed easily and then re-installed. Took him and his helper 5 hours to complete for a very reasonable price. High quality handyman (think it was Jeff). Would used this company for any home repairs!
DID a great job refacing our deck and replacing the steps going up to the deck, also the railing around the whole deck would recommend them again
Steve was great. Worked around my schedule. Steve and his guys got the job done quickly and very well. Great job
Did a good job, very polite and on time for work. A little bit of communication hiccups but overall very satisfied.
So far Iâ ve had them do some handyman work for me. Did a very good job and were very efficient. Will have them back to do more as needed.
Steve martin was hired for both siding and window replacement. The quality of work was very exceptional and was completed in the time frame quoted. Steve's pricing came out lower then two other companies that bid on the job and Steve even completed additional work that was added on after the job started. The best part was the communication and all materials and workers showed up when he said they would. Overall a great experience!
Very professional, showed up on time ,did a wonderful job!!! Would hire them again !!
Fast and efficient
Steve called very quickly after submitting request - maybe an hour? I've described the issues I need taken care of (bad seals on two doors and "winter is coming!") and he set an appointment to come out two days later (after clarifying it wasn't an emergency) at 9am. Wouldn't you know it - he had someone there at 9am. The tech he sent out was a young guy but very polite and cordial. I explained/showed the issues, he took some pictures and stepped out to Home Depot to get supplies and was back in an hour. One hour later the project was completed. So far, on a very windy day, no drafts have been felt. I'll be sure to call on Martin's GC next time I have a project.
I will say they were professional and cordial. We had a leaking window, leaking sliding glass door, and a drafty sliding glass door. I was told he would remove the sill from the window and see if he could determine where the water was coming in. He did not remove the sill because it would not come out. But he did slap some caulk on the corners of the window. (Which if that is all that needed to be done, I would have done it myself) It of course has NOT fixed the problem. It still leaks. He caulked along the sides of the drafty sliding glass door when I specifically said the problem was air coming in along the bottom of the door. Nothing else was done with that. Has NOT fixed the problem. I was told he would remove the flashing from the leaking sliding door and check to make sure it was properly installed and if not replace it. He did take off some of the siding saw the flashing was done correctly then slapped some more caulk around the deck beam above the door. (Which is where is suspect the water is coming from.) He was here for about and hour, left for 1 1/2 hours to get some "stuff" and came back for about 20 minutes. So in all he was at the house for about an hour and a half. You would think since he didn't have to remove the sill on the window, and didn't have to remove the flashing and replace it, on the door, the price of the bill would be less. As that was less time and less materials used. It was NOT. He still charged full price. The amount of work and time did NOT equal the amount I paid. I could have done all of this myself with a tube of caulk. But I trusted him as a professional and someone who had said he'd been doing it for 30 years. I thought maybe he had some other idea than a tube of caulk. Shame on me I guess for trusting someone. Although he did say if it still leaks call him back and he'll re-caulk it for free. My reply 'no thanks I know how to use a caulk gun'. My advice: 1.Go somewhere else. 2.Get a description and price of the work to be done up front and in writing. 3.Get additional quotes.
