For new irrigation installation in the state of NC, NC law requires a separate irrigation tap and above ground backflow preventer (PRZ) and box for backflow preventer. Please contact you local Public Works/utilities department to determine you irrigation tap fee. The above referenced requirements are an additional fee to installing and irrigation system. Showed up when he said they would (barring weather that would create a safety hazard), performed the job efficiently, charged the stated amount, and left my yard looking practically as good as when they started the job. Being an outside job, I had little contact with his crew; but Mr Martin was courteous, professional, affable and seemed to be a genuinely nice guy.
