I paid Marty cash which he requested. I pointed out to him the next day (because I was able to move things away from wall) how carpet chunks were missing because he cut away to much carpet for stretching. So he came back 5 days later complaining how he had problems with is knees and his back. He ran out of some extra carpet he had and a particular carpet too and said he would have go come back in a few days. He NEVER returned nor did he return any of my messages I left on his recorder. He is a very and extremely pathetic person who lacks total sensitivity and work ethics.

"lets see now this was back in may of 2017 this is December 2017 i came back and fixed the problem in may, you called again , we could not get a confirmed time from you to return to your house because of your work schedule?, As far as my back, i guess you lack sensitivity,I was not complaining you ask me why i was limping. personally i don't think you could be happy about a sunny day, YOUR A COMPLAINER NEVER HAPPY?!?! And no i did not get any calls from you to my I phone voicemail or texts It also appeared to me that you pulled up on the carpet and caused the whole problem to begin with. talk about high strung you yell everything Try to work under those conditions, isnt it ironic how all my other reviews are darn near 5 stars??, you offered cash because you did not have payment at the job completion I had to travel back across town at days end to get paid is that lacking sensitivity ,That's another thing i came back to get paid 5 hours later why didnt you complain then, because you caused the whole problem by pulling up the carpet from its tack strip and now im stuck with your bad review and your name calling. i finish the job an you tell me you dont have any money that right there speaks volumes, Tell that to the grocery store nut ( some people )"

Very expensive and poor workmanship. Damage was done to my home alarm system and Marty is not returning calls. He cancelled at the last minute a visit to make good on the alarm and poor workmanship. I definitely would not recommend him. A memo has been written to customer solutions and i am waiting their follow up on this matter

"communication break down im not going to argue with you it unprofessional , i asked you for additional photos of the alarm wire, the photo u sent looks rigged, you scared my crew witH your arrogance, and you were smiling when i left Your home. i had already informed HA of or situation and they requested i try to appease you but guess what im DONE And i reduced the cost for you and did extra repairs WOW. you will be a chapter in my upcoming book"

Marty and his team were fast and efficient. They performed stretching my existing carpet and it now looks new. It was a good investment vs. paying a couple of thousand dollars to replace the carpet.

I originally just wanted a section of carpet removed and replaced. Marty told me it would be very noticeable and he wouldn't recommend it. He offered to clean the area instead. I chose to have it cleaned. He did an exceptional job and I would definately call him again.

So I will be honest and start off by saying that there may have been a miscommunication over the original phone quote. I thought we agreed upon $150 and Marty stated that he gave me a range of $150-200. Either way when Marty arrived to my home he told my husband it would be $300! I sent him pictures and everything prior to him coming out. Once my husband told him we were not paying $300 he agreed to complete the work but told my husband that since we were not paying $300 the carpet would not look new. So I received a $150 carpet repair with a 2.5 foot visible seam. The carpet repair looks great outside of the visible seam. He also asked my husband for supplies like garbage bags and duct tape. I guess I can understand the garbage bag but I'm thinking that a carpet repair guy should carry tape. I saw other reviews about him changing the price once he arrived at the home and I should have listened. On a positive note he was the quickest company too respond, he arrived when he said he would, and he was quick.

"I completed the job for half the price to be help full to you and your husband even my helper was shocked i was working so cheap. an NOOOOOO i did not say that it would not look good, Yes i did run short on tape, i always give a range in price based on what the client explains to me on the phone an that i will price it when i get there. You conveniently left 150.00 assuming that what ill take, and then wrote a bad review WOW. buy the way your husband seem to think the repair looked great and would mail me a check for 25.00 that i never got HELLO."

Marty is very good at his job. He fixed the bumps in my carpet (tightened the carpet) then he cleaned them. He is very reasonably priced and does good work. He has quite the personality to boot!
