It was not the best experience for us. Marvin gave us quote that seemed reasonable. But that apparently did not include the 3 steps from dining area down to the patio which cost additional money. As a professional I expected him to have been clear about that upfront. He says he did, but why on earth would we want a patio without steps to get down to it. And then the workmanship itself was not good. I had him come back 3 different times after initial work because the stones were not aligned, there was too much gap, etc. I understand for this type of work, sometimes the pavers/stones may move. But to have to come back three times because they did not check if things were in straight line and a loose paver came out completely such that I tripped, was totally unacceptable. There was a fresh air vent for the HVAC system that was coming out from under the deck steps. We did not know about that, but as a professional he should have told us about the options to handle that. But instead he asked us if he could close it as it does not do anything. I ended up asking him to leave that open with some cover. Overall, the patio looks OK but not worth the money we spent. To have to deal with issues like lack of clarity around work, basic misses from them on misaligned, loose and crooked paver placements, having to get them back three times for fixing the previously mentioned issues and their ignorance about handling the fresh air vent for HVAC, this experience was not good for us and definitely did not feel it was worth the money.

We are thrilled with the work that Marvin and his team did for us. We received multiple quotes to have our old deck removed and new patio installed and his quote was the best and we were able to get the project scheduled at a time that worked for us, although with all projects like this, there was a long list of others scheduled ahead of us. Once they began, they had the entire project done within two weeks. Marvin had drawn up a plan for the project, but after getting the old deck out of the way and getting to fully see the site, suggested some changes that made our design even better. His team is very professional and hardworking. We will not hesitate to use them again in the future and highly recommend them for any projects you may have.

Marvin's crew were able to show up ahead of schedule and complete the work faster than expected at a great price. The work is amazing and Allan, Cesar, and the other crew member running the gravel truck were all fantastic to work with!
