Yes they are great they were on time they cleaned up after themselves and they made my sidewalk ADA Compliant for the ramp that they put in the gentleman who did the labor or courteous they had the supervisor out there was extremely nice and they they took care of any problems that arose I now have a nice safe sidewalk and I safe ramp for my disabled husband I would use them again in a heartbeat if I need cement work

Even though this was a small yard drain repair/replacement job (excavate existing asphalt, form and rebar for existing drain, place 4' X 4' X 4" thick concrete), Marwood was very personable, professional, knowledgeable and timely. Kept me informed of scheduling. Crew were very thorough, went the extra bit to make a good job as very good! Crew came back to strip forms, and ensure that drainage was as expected. A very satisfying experience!

Had driveway completely replaced - 34 yards. The company did a great job. There were some mistakes but the company acted promptly to resolve the issues and went out of there way to make sure I was happy. Chris and Jim were excellent to work with. They came in on time and within budget. I would work with them again.

With very good reviews we hired Marwood to add a second bay 12' x 30' concrete floor to our existing workshop. The estimator was polite, punctual and understood the job. The office and scheduling were easy to deal with and available within two weeks. The crew was approachable and worked hard, setting forms one day and pouring the next. When the contractor came in to build, nothing is square or flat. The slab slopes back to the building 2" over 12 ft. The front ledge and water drain the wrong direction, the slab is 2 1/2 " wider at the back than the front, the 8" garage door sill is 2 1/2 " out of square and sloped 1 1/2" over 8 ft. An 8" step in the back third of the slab is approximately 6" away from being square to the slab, set at an angle. Even the edge where the wall plate sits is uneven. I had prepped the site for this build minus compacting gravel and there is no reason it should have come out so uneven. It is making it very difficult to build a building when nothing in the floor is straight or level

Had a couple of Japanese maples damaged during the first phase (rock and scaffolding) brought to their attention and are going to replace them. Concrete pouring and finishing were exemplary. They replaced the one tree with a 1 year old seedling and destroyed a 4-5 year old tree. The tree they destroyed was valued at $400. Replaced it with one seedling valued at $99 that did not even have a great shape.

The slab looks pretty good, but it is slightly unevenly sloped on one edge, and the seam against the old slab is not entirely smooth. The biggest issue though was if I had not been aware and paying attention, I would have overpaid a bit for gravel that was not used but was invoiced. They need some better checks and quality control processes. Also, they are check or cash only - odd in this day and age.

Great quality of work, although the concrete stairs were crooked and it is obvious now that we are putting everything in place. The guys that came to do the work were polite. Professional and efficient at what they were doing and we were impressed. We will use them again for future projects.

Had an estimator out that same morning of getting in contact with them. It was a week to get a quote back, that was the only thing that took some time. After that we got a date set and the patio was done. I would hire them again. It was nice to have the concrete patio completed in one day!

Absolutely love our new patio! They quoted a great price and worked as quickly as possible staying in frequent communication even during the coronavirus shutdown. Everyone was friendly and easy to work with.
