They did shoddy work. It was a disaster. Not only that even though the man from Maryz Appliance Repairz was working outside he knocked some of my tile out inside. The estimate they gave me before they started was in the $300 range and when it was all finished I ended up paying over $1,000. What a nightmare! I would never recommend them to anybody. If I could attach some pictures I would.

After posting review, the company called and we are now attempting to correct the issue. Problem exists with company they use to process their credit card receipts. They have assured me it will be corrected. As for work performed, I would give them a 5 star as they did what was required.

Everyone I spoke with was pleasant & helpful. We were having dryer vent problems. The technician who came to our house was knowledgeable & continued to check things and work until the problem was solved. Excellent value for money. Would recommend.

I had a great experience with this company. I needed my tv mounted and they did it for a price I could afford. Very trustworthy people. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone who needs a small project done

I hired Maryz to clean my dryer vent as my dryer in my new home was taking longer than normal to dry and I had no history of the former ownerâ s upkeep. The appointment was set for between 2 and 4, which came and went on the appointed day. Maryz did call to let me know the worker was delayed. Much later, the worker called to say heâ d be by in 25 minutes. By then, it was dark and too late to fit my schedule, so I told him to â come first thing in the morning.â No show, no call in the morning, so I went about my business away from home. When I returned late that afternoon, I discovered the worker had shown up on my doorstep, did something with his vent cleaning tool (available at a hardware store for $30) and left with $150 cash from my family, sans a receipt. I called Maryz who said the worker told her Iâ d agreed to returning at the same time as the first appointment (not true) and that heâ d cleaned the vent out thoroughly with his cleaning tool reaching all the way to the exterior vent located up the wall from the dryer and across the ceiling to the outside vent at the junction of the 1st and 2nd floor (a description Iâ d given in my initial request to HomeAdvisor). The workerâ s claim that heâ d traversed and cleaned the entire duct was disproved the next day when a load of laundry didnâ t dry at all; NO air was coming through the outside vent. Heâ d stopped up the vent system completely. Another call to Maryz who said sheâ d send another worker out the next day with a â high pressureâ blower. The next day worker #2 came, his only equipment being the same extension rod/brush (part of which broke off in the vent and remained there), his drill, and a garden hose. He was surprised that I expected a blower. Worker #2 tried a long time with the aid of my tools (ladder, shop light, and shop vac), but couldnâ t dislodge the stoppage. In more calls to Maryz, she then said, â Oh, no, [worker #1] had already blown out the vent, now what is called for is the brush.â Untrue: Worker #1 hadnâ t blown out anything. Furthermore, what the â high pressure blowerâ was revealed to be is a leaf blower, as I was told in the last phone call of the night. If a leaf blower does the job, wouldnâ t you expect the workers to come with one?? I was told theyâ d come the next day (this being Christmas holidays) to finally resolve the problem. They didnâ t come. I called Maryz phone which delivered the recorded message â No one is available and the message box is full.â After Christmas I spoke to HomeAdvisor (HA) and then Maryz again at length. There was much argument, excuses, and more untruths: Maryz claimed sheâ d already contacted HA and sent photos of my vents saying her workers always take photos (neither worker was equipped to take pictures, and HA said they had no such report from Maryz). She dismissed the extension left in the vent as â a little thingâ and declared the problem was that my vent was not up to

The repairman Sal was prompt and very polite. He carefully explained everything to me. I will definitely use Maryz again when needed.

They never gave a written quote, just a verbal, then then job ended up costing more than 50% more than the quote. In addition, after I payed, they called me and said I owed them even more money. The contractor did not lay down drop cloths over the area where he was working, after promising me he would, meaning that all the furniture in the room was full of dust when the job was done. He also promised to return to clean the floor in the room but did not. There were drips of the surfacing material in the room that I had to scrape off. The best I can say is they got back to me quickly and scheduled my job right away, so Mary is very responsive in that respect.

They were friendly, helpful and wanted to make sure I was happy with their service.

The gal fixed my washing machine, seemed to know exactly what was wrong, what part to order - right off! She even had a work around until the part arrives. They were very prompt and professional. Thanks!
