Masco Contractor Services - Insulation

As a home remodeler, I hired this company to insulate a bonus room prior to sheet-rocking. What would have taken me 2 days with my skillset, 1 man did in 3/4 of a day. Sure, there was a cost associated with it, but it was very fair for the work that was performed.

Did the work quickly.

Company did not follow standard practice and did not insulate completely out in the eves but did the fasted way out rather then best way for me, follow standard practice = left rafters uninsulated ,

The contractors that came to my house did an amazing job of keeping the carpets covered before starting, and doing a full exam before the work started. The price was a little high, but there was no way I could have done it myself and and in such great work. Great work Masco.

when service was completed, I gave a check to the head of the 4-person crew. A week later, I got a phone message saying someone would like to come get the payment. i emailed saying I had paid the crew chief the full amount. A few days later, I had to go to the post office to pick up two certified letters; they were 20-day notices for a lien on my home! Of course, I had already paid. So I had wasted several hurs going to the post office and then calling Masco / TruTeam. Throughout my call, the accounts person kept saying "but we did not receive your payment until yesterday"; I kept saying that I paid the day service was provided but Masco had misplaced the check... not my fault. Instead of being apologetic, they kept saying "we did not get your payment:". Awful, awful, awful.

Foam and blown-in insulation was performed to perfection. Would get their local reps - Collins & Co. in a heartbeat.

They responded very quickly and professionally. All personnel were friendly and polite. The cleanup was completed to my satisfaction as quickly as possible.

We went on Home Advisor to look for a contractor after we realized we needed more insulation. We hired this company. The estimate was great - work was performed quickly and professionally. They came prepared for the job and were on time. The house is more comfortable. Great job.

I had the insulation installed for sound proofing. Unfortunately, it did not achieve the result I was hoping for but no fault of the installers in my opinion.. I plan to add another layer of drywall to the ceiling at some point to achieve the desired result.

They'Re ok

Two workers were to air seal the attic on Tuesday. They spent and hour and did nothing...but claimed they air sealed it. On the next Monday two new workers came to blow in insulation but could not prove or show me any foam insulation added to air seal my attic. They had to spend time air sealing the attic and then blow in insulation. Without my challenge they would have blown in insulation only...as was described on their work order...they were told air sealing had been done. No integrity from first two workers. Hope this is not a company wide problem. Last two workers were excellent.

They were timely, reviewed all the attic conditions and made the necessary adjustments which had not been done when the house was build. Excellent communication, concerned to be sure the proper work was performed and done. Could not recommend highly enough for their excellent work.

I actually opted for blown in fiberglass insulation and they came on time and completed the job within 2 hours. They wore protective footwear and covered my carpets in plastic. After the installation, they cleaned up with a vacuum cleaner.

Great from start to finish. Good communication, fast install.
