Maselli Contracting & HVAC

I wanted to replace my oil heating and AC with 3 new heat pumps & water heater and had contacted many contractors to get an estimate. I finally choose Maselli and I am very happy with my decision. The price is very competitive and Joe is very knowledgeable; during the initial visit, he made many good observations on current house settings and gave me many recommendations that I did not hear from the others. The units came promptly as scheduled and the installation was smooth. There was no hidden cost (except for the electrical work as mentioned in the contract) and Joe made sure that the system run smoothly prior to the final payment. Overall, it was a good experience; I can always reach the office with a human voice on the other end, and I voluntary signed up for a 2 year service contract (no marketing from their end). I will highly recommend Joe for heat pump installation and HVAC services.

I highly advise staying away from Masseli HVAC. They have visited my home twice to address issues with my AC units, but both times they only performed patchwork and then reported to the home warranty company that nothing was wrong, closing out the claims and collecting their payment. Despite their visits, my second floor still won't cool properly. To make matters worse, the owner was extremely rude, disrespectful, and dismissive during our interactions. Save yourself the frustration and look for a more reliable HVAC company.

Great service!! When our old hot water heater finally died, we called Maselli. They responded immediately and we had a brand new hot water heater the next day. We were so impressed with them that we decided to work with them to install a new ductless A/C system in our house. They were timely, very responsive, professional and gave us a fair price. When a manufacturer's defect was identified, Joe took care of it immediately and to our satisfaction. They answer the phone, call back promptly, provide competent work and great customer service. We highly recommend them!

Maselli is very reliable and responsive contractor. When you call them, they answer the phone. When they make an appointment, they show up on time. They installed a central air system and a split ductless system in my Ossining home. They execute the work they promise, efficiently and with excellence. Finding a contractor that you can trust and be truthful, is a rarity. Maselli is that trustworthy contractor who does great work at a fair price. I highly recommend them for any home air conditioning project.

Joe went above and beyond the call of duty, going to three plumbing supply stores to try to find a part for our old toilet tank!

I really like this company. Bought a new house and there was a leak coming from outside frost proof spigot. The firs t crew took a look and bought parts to repair cause the pipe was not easily accessible. The second crew came with the parts but could not change them due to pipes location. They were able to find an access panel which i never knew about and crawl under the house for repair. They went in and was subsequently able to replace the entire fixture. Coincidentally when they were here I had another leak from my bathtub upstairs. They determined it to be a simple loose hose and fixed it in 10 seconds. Some less than honest people probably could have turned that into a big job but they did not. Will definitely use again.

Came on Saturday of the 3 day Labor Day week-end, on time early morning. Very friendly and was able to correct the situation quickly. The cost was the same as the estimate provided the evening before based on my description on Friday evening. Very polite and very respectful of the area where he needed to work. I recommend them based on this successful outcome.

In short, these guys are A+ and I canâ t recommend them highly enough. Theyâ re highly competent, quick to respond, efficient, cost-competitive and last, but not least, very well-mannered. I will use them again for all my HVAC needs. Some more detail. I found Maselli Contracting through Home Advisor when my 12-year old central AC stopped working. Joe called within hours and we set up a diagnosis appointment the next morning. Joe and his partner Brian showed up on-time and determined that it would be an expensive repair. I decided to get a quote on a new system and Joe came back with 3 options. I did get a 2nd quote but Maselli's was better in the end. I settled on a Trane AC and air handler. They ordered it and installed it the next week. Again, exactly on time. It took them about 6 hours. They did an excellent install job. I had one issue (Traneâ s fault/not theirs) and they came out again with a fix at no extra charge that Trane would have charged hundreds just for the part. It's been 6 weeks since the install and everything is working great. Thanks Joe and Brian!

Joe replaced my old water heater. Service was excellent and prompt. There was a manufacturing defect in the water heater and Joe went above and beyond his duties to remedy the situation. He very quickly replaced the defective unit probably at a cost to himself, but to make sure we had a brand new working unit. Highly recommend this business
