Masterguard Aluminum Rail and Fence, LLC

I would not recommend this company to anyone horrible experience and I have been going through this for 8 months!

We dealt with Chris...install was July 2020. During the first meeting he seemed knowledgeable and rushed to get a check to get started. A few weeks later we started checking in occasionally to see when we might get an install, half the time he sounded confused and did not know who we were. One time he even called us back later after we spoke to find out whats going on and why we called him. On our install date we called because it had been a couple hours since the start of day and they had not shown, Chris said they were getting everything ready and should be over soon. Two hours later he called us and told us they took our fencing equipment and someone elses file and were already installing our fence on someone elses property. We had to wait two more days for them to get fencing and start our yard. After installation we realized they installed the wrong gate latches when we paid for the upgraded ones along with other issues. They came out and swapped the latches. That is the last time they were out. Not long after we realized the majority of the slats are not screwed into the bottom of the fence sections so they move and slide out of place where our dogs could potentially get out. We also noticed some damage from our landscapers lawnmowers at one of our gates. The landscapers agreed to pay for the repair from lawnmowers. We reached out to Chris and discussed the issues; he said to send an email and they would get it on the books and damage from landscaping is common. We sent that email with all of the pictures September 1. September 28 we sent a follow-up email as we could not get through calling him. A quick phone call he said he was out of town most of October but would get to us. Every time my husband calls from his phone it goes straight to voicemail and we get no response back and no email response. He just tried calling from my phone immediately after trying from his phone and it rang and Chris picked up - he acted like he did not remember that we had issues. I believe they may have blocked my husbands phone number. We cannot seem to get them to come out to do the repairs that are owed from their initial install and the lawnmower damage. Also as a note he keeps giving us the run around when we ask for the permit for the work and says the county is giving him a hard time ... well I figured out how to look up the permit online- it shows there is a balance due for the permit and no completion date.

Chris came out on time and knew the HOA requirements. Job was completed and the minor issues were taken care of promptly

Masterguard was absolutely excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to call them in a heartbeat if I needed another fence.

Very pleasant & easy to deal with.....only delay was due to the permitting process, but once it was obtained, they came out on time, did the job in a timely manner. Chris came out within the hour after completion to check everything. Would definitely recommend them !

On time and fast installation.

There were some delays but the project looks great. They were hard workers and were thoroughly charming and helpful. They worked around my nosy neighbor and my busy toddler. We are 100% happy with their work!

Chris is very efficient and knowledgeable. He certainly knows his business and gives good advice on how best to place a fence, gates, etc. He is also very professional and personable...a pleasure to do business with. Other fence companies did not even bother to come and measure the property we wanted to fence. They quoted, based on a survey, site unseen. That is why I chose Chris and Masterguard. Chris offers the personal touch.
