May be applied to, old, worn asphalt, concrete, or rock base ( eliminates dust ),.....Great for driveways, farm lanes, and lots, subdivisions..... CHIP SEAL is the afordable alternative to asphalt. i got snookered on this.......beware, do not let them talk you into "spraying" the product onto your asphalt. It is peeling up and looks terrible!

Came out to estimate 20 May 2014. Received email estimate 2 Jun 2014. Paid $3,500 down 10 Jun 2014. ($7.000 total - Long drive.) Was scheduled several times, but no show. Graded drive 27 Jun 2014. Asphalting was completed 28 Jul 2014. I called n left msgs. Emailed - no response...Until I fired them thru email. Called next day. Supposedly understood my concerns n would correct. Nope. Non-communication continued. Bottom line is: Yes, there were days when weather didn't permit, but no customer service skills whatsoever. Not bad folks, but I cannot recommend.

they were hard to get in contact with, made several attempts to get a returned call from them. Now that the jobs is done they will not stand by their warranty to repair the faults with the project. I had my driveway repaired and new layer of paving put on to take care of cracking and breaking of old. Well the new layer is cracking already and it was just done last fall of 2011. I called them in April and they said they would get back with me in May. May has come and gone with no call. I keep trying to call them with no response yet. It does no good to leave message because they apparently dont want to deal with a dissatisfied customer.

Matherly & Son did an outstanding job on my driveway. The crew was very easy to get along with and they all appear to be American citizens, if you get my drift. They accepted my last minute changes with the "can do" attitude. The only thing I would suggest to improve the job would be an earlier start time in the day. Other than that, it was a great experience having these guys do the job. I will definitely recommend Matherly & Son Paving to others who are looking for a professional paving job.
