"Although I can understand your frustration with having an expensive repair on a newly purchased home. I would like to note that my report did include comment and pictures of foundation cracks that were previously repaired. No leaks were detected at the time of the inspection. In order to have determined the depth of the damage would have required the purchaser to have had the exterior of the foundation dug up, which was not done, nor would it have been a part of any normal inspection. My inspection was thorough and complete. As with any home purchase, there are hidden issues that cannot be foreseen by an inspection. I have reached out several times in order to come to a satisfactory resolution to this homeowners disappointment with my inspection with no results."
