We started in 2019 with a deposit we are in 2024 and still we can get a contractor to take on the work Matlock did not finish. They kept us on a leash for 2 years, we understood Co Vid but when we started seeing others houses go up and he was still saying he can get concrete and we could call and get and he could get wood we knew something was off. He could not get wood because the plans he submitted that the city approved (that went to the mayors office) were fake. Actually have since found out that the plans were approved because he changed it from a garage to a shed which we did not know about until we took over the permit. There is no roofing company that would take on this project. Contractors have given our money back to us because they couldnt do anything. We had to go to the same scammers he hired to get plans and they say they never did those plans. That Matlock printed them himself. This is awful dont go with this company. 2024 and we are still stuck to this day. I call the planners scammers because they operate like Matlock they did the plan incomplete they didnt pass the city and then to find out they need to add the correct information they charged us. Nicholson and Charlie these are his people and they are all linked. Matlock talks a great game but produces nothing.

We would not recommend Matlock Homes. After planning our remodeling project, they promised that the project would be complete in 4 weeks. In reality, it took them 5 months to complete. Workers would routinely be sent to other jobs and work was constantly pushed back. It got so bad that we had to constantly have someone physically present at the property to ensure the workers wouldn?t leave early. It took a complaint to BBB and at one point we even got the licensing board involved in order to pressure them to finish the project. It was impossible to reach management many days. The lack of communication and broken promises we found very unprofessional. Bottom line, we would not recommend this company to anyone.
