I hired Neal Matteson for my electrical work. At first I was really excited to find someone that was enthusiastic to work with me and gave me a great price. After a week has passed Neal "finished" his electrical work and asked for payment which I had ready for him 2 days prior to work finished. Then Neal disappears and blocks my number which made me worry who finishes an electrical project and goes missing? Also found cigarette butts in bathroom and on electrical box which matched edge cigarettes. Come to find out their work was not finished I have two outlets that still do not work one located in the bathroom and another in the kitchen mind you there is nothing plugged in at the moment at all. Next when I am finally able to get a hold of Neal he tells me to call his father which is someone I have not worked with nor signed any contract. Ed the father was very polite and told me Neal was upset that he didn't receive payment. To which I responded we have been trying to contact him all week and showing up on location to give him a check. Everything seemed too strange so I hired an inspector to review the electrical work . End result 2 closets have NO power, Not a single dimmer/fixture installed, and still to this day I need to hire another electrician to find out why the two outlets one in the kitchen and the other in the bathroom still do not work. When Neal told me "The difference is we care" clearly this is not the case! I would not recommend this contractor to anyone unless it is very basic handyman work. NOTHING MORE
