Matthew Ryan replaced our deck in 2010. At first we were happy with the results. Since then the railings have bowed, we had to have the one set of steps redone, and a few of the posts are crooked. We paid an arm and a leg for this job. When I tried to contact him later that year I was told he went out of business!!

They did excellent work on our deck. I did have to do some cleaning up after they were done, but not much a nail here and there. The price they gave us was awesome.

Great job on the deck and much cheaper quote than some of the other quotes I received. Got the job done in very little time and on very short notice.

I previously wrote a rather dark review, but I am now happy to be able to retract it & report that I have been contacted. I've been given a complete explanation as to the cause of the delay & promised periodic updates. I was contacted by one of the owners & must honestly say that I was treated with the utmost concern & respectability toward my issue. Just for this degree of personal attention alone, I'd recommend this company & I'm sure that I will be following this up with praise about the final result.

Cannot rate the work, as it has not yet been started. However, the start-up person who arrived to discuss the project, gave very informative information and was quite pleasant to talk to. His presentation was commendable. He was able to answer my questions. When he was unsure of the answer, he made phone calls to get the answers. I was pleased with his services. The owner has since made a visit, to sum up the work that will be involved and answered other questions that arose. He went over the details with me. The work should start in about 10 days, if not sooner. I understood the delay, as he explained that the rain is a factor.

They were easy to reach, kept all their appointments, and returned our calls promptly. It took a while to get the project started, but once the permits were received, the work was completed quickly. The deck itself was finished in 2 days. The workers were courteous and friendly; and cleaned up after themselves. We are happy with the results and highly recommend them.

I had an original set of stairs from the 1940's demolished at my Duplex. I replaced the steps with 3 new stairways, a top landing, and a ground level deck. Work came out great! It was a project that had a ton of if, ans, or buts when designing/constructing it. Matthew Ryan was able to work with me on certain situations during the project. Cleaned up after themselves. Pleasent to work with.

The project manager and the sales manager were very helpful and always avaliable to answer questions. The construction crew did an amazing job on building my deck. I would recommend them to anyone.

They did a fabulous job for a very reasonable price, we priced with 5 contractors.

The experience was fantastic, the workman were professional and they did a great job on the deck, they arrived on time and the deck was completed exactly per specifications. I have been receiving compliments from my neighbors since it was finished. They are highly recommended and I have passed business cards out to everyone who asked who did the job.

They did all the work. They answered all my questions that I had and any concerns that I had.

Although only started work a full 4 months after we signed the contract, the project was completed in a week and the workmanship was excellent.

They are an excellent company - and go beyond what we expected in workmanship. It took a while to wrap things up. The finishing touches are worth the wait. I would definitely recommend them to anyone interested in a big project like ours.

I was pleased with the presentation given to me by the representative. The estimate was in line with others I had received. The representative was punctual and informed. I will probably go with this company at the end of the summer.

The deck was very costly- over 20 thousand and had many poorly done cuts and construction was poor. Had to have someone come and redo the mistakes documented and took over 6 months to complete. Not a good experience and still see open mitred joints and slats coming off bowed.

From estimate to finish product Matthew Ryan Home Improvements excelled. Communication is excellent. Customer Service top notch. The deck is absolutely beautiful. They made the whole process easy and we were happy to be able to afford our new composite deck. Crew was always on time, clean, neat, etc. etc. I would definitely recommend Matthew Ryan Home Improvements again and again and hope to use them again on future projects.

Matthew Ryan went past what my wife and I expected, the deck, the lighing the stairs are absolutly beautiful. The guys were professional in every manner. Their suggestions helped bring the ideas we had up a few notches. I would and alrerady have recommened Matthew Ryan to two very close freinds.
