Rauscher Construction, LLC

There were many issues that came up repeatedly during this renovation. We were very specific about what we were doing in this condo renovation and verbalized repeatedly to Matt our plans. We even told him very pointedly that we were particular and if he felt that was going to be an issue then we would understand. When going over the Reno plans, there was no problem according to Matt, with everything that we wanted to do. He even made a couple recommendations that we incorporated in the plan. We asked for all the specifics to be included in the contract for both our sakes. Again, no problem, you have nothing to worry about as we have gone over everything in detail and he was just moving into a new office and things were not really set up yet for the secretary to redo contract. We believed him and signed the contract. Unfortunately Matt did the renovation as he thought it should be done. When reminded of the conversation of how we wanted something done, he did not ever remember having a conversation about that. The work was done very sporadically with never being given notice when he was going to be there or if he needed something for the job the notice would be the afternoon before. It took a long time to complete. We were charged for demoing which we had done before he started except for the removal of the shower units but when it came time to put back together he would not even hang the new light fixtures as he said it was not in the contract. But no credit for not having to demo. Very unorganized and no real plan for the proper sequence of work. Interior doors all had to be taken down after they finished and sanded and resprayed and hung back at our expense as the paint job was so bad they felt and looked like sandpaper. When asked about the terrible paint job on the doors, Matt’s response was just don’t touch them, they look okay! Our experience led us to believe that Matt is probably good at rough in or exterior construction but not at interior or finish work. Did not feel that he was honest with us and our sense was he thought he could do this Reno quickly and being finish work, charge alot and make a lot off the job.

Felt very comfortable hiring this company due to the reviews and was not disappointed. Would definitely hire again.

Very responsive and did a excellent job.

THe work was complete in an efficient and timely manner. But I would like to add, that to me the quality of the work is the primary reason for my level of satisfaction, what put them over the top, was the fact that they left the job site as clean if not cleaner than when they arrived, without any prompting on my part. I will be having other work done in my home over the next several months to a year and I will welcome Matt Rauscher and his crew back into my home without any reservations whatsoever.

Outstanding work and price!

Great Company

Being new to Port Orange, we were very careful in our selecting a contractor and trusted Home Advisor to help us. Was NOT disappointed. Matt and his crew were dependable, courteous, respectful or our property (kept construction site organized and left it clean) and built a strong, quality and beautiful deck. I highly recommend Rauscher Construction especially based on Matt's attention to quality, customer focus and personal integrity. Bic V. Port Orange, FL

Matt came when he said he would be there. He charged what he estimated the job to be. He finished within the time frame he said it would take. He was not the best at clean up but we came to an understanding of what I expected and what he needed to do. I would recommend Rauscher Construction.

Super quality work, will contacting on another project.

He did what he said he would do when he said he would do it! What more can you ask?

We are truly pleased with our new windows and the timely and professional way they were installed. Actually felt that Matt treated our project as if it was his own home. Would not hesitate to recommend him to others and will most likely contact him for our bathroom project when we get ready to have it done.

The estimate given to me was high in my judgement; however, based on the ratings of others, I hired Rauscher Construction to do the job. I was not disappointed and very satisfied overall. This was an interior remodel and he prepared the area to reduce the dust to almost zero. My wife was ecstatic with the results, and we know that her rating is what counts most. The plasterer he used did an outstanding job of smoothing in the work and the final application was indistinguishable from the area surrounding it.

Very friendly and professional, work completead in timely manner, good price, good communication.

Rauscher Construction rebuilt a vinyl fence and deck from the ground up. This Contractor upheld the most professionalism and respect I have seen in a long time. If things needed to be changed or altered, they were remedied without reluctance. I've gotten many compliments after completion of the job from complete strangers. If only more Contractors adhere to the standards set forth by this Company. Professionalism, Respect, and Honesty go along way in any profession. I would have NO second thoughts on REHIRING or RECOMMENDING Rauscher Construction.

They did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
