I was trying to get buds to replace a 15 yo central AC compressor. First I had difficulty getting people to even show up & give a bid. The bids I did get were unreasonably high. I contacted Maui Home Remodeling. Alex got back to me in one day. His bid came in lower than anyone & in one week I had a new compressor. Alex is wonderful & his employees were awesome. I'd never use anyone else for any home remodel of any kind.

Alex is a great guy and is very professional. He is a contractor and has crews for many home jobs needed. He discounted the job he did as he finished early.

This is a wonderful company full of customer service. They contacted me right away and completed my job within 48 hours of initial contact. The employees are very friendly and perform quality work quickly. They completely clean up any leftover debris and put all trash into the trash bin. Their pricing is extremely competitive and well within reason. I will absolutely hire this company again.

I had another handyman from Molokai named Atoa who was hired to do renovations on my house. He ended up bailing on the job mid way through after taking several extra months off in between. He left the house in worse condition with unsafe and not up to code structures. But luckily I found Alex. Alex is a great guy to work with. He is reliable and gives a feeling that he really cares about the project and task at hand. He made sure to give me the best quality finish for a good price. Professional, responsible, reliable. I will be hiring Alex again for upcoming jobs.

He did a thorough yet timely installation of our new gas range as well as assisting us with some foundation work that needed to be done!

Very professional, knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done, offered suggestions/options, work concise and expectations were met, noted my gutters were not “right” and inspected the gutters and found the problem, will return to install another down spout after measuring and getting the materials. I would use them again for any future projects that I may have.

Alex and Kudo are professional, responsible, meticulous and very caring workmen of high integrity. They did a wonderful job rebuilding and painting my deck in a timely fashion. Alex explained everything in detail (there was more underlying damage and rot than originally visible) Prior to the deck work, I encountered a glitch when a stove was delivered and my ceramic tile counter preventing it's going in the space...deliverers left it sitting in middle of my kitchen. Alex made time to come make adjustments and get the stove situated properly. They also cleaned the gutters on two sides of my roof. I highly recommend Alex and Kudo. They know what they are doing, do not cut corners, but do things right! You will be happy with the work of this team! My deck looks great. They seem to be skilled for many types of projects.

My wife and I were extremely pleased with Alex and Kudo’s promptness, professionalism and expertise. We needed the installation of a new window AC unit, 2 switches, a ceiling fan and kitchen faucet. All were completed in a timely and efficient fashion. They also discovered functional failure in our kitchen sink valves, which could have led to an emergency water situation. They met with our management office to handle the necessary paperwork for a brief water shut-off and will be back this week to address this very important fix. We’re grateful and will have lots more work for this great company.
