If I could give more than 5 stars I would. My project had come to a halt. I was at a stage of the project that need professional help. Doug came to my rescue. Doug and his crew started within days of providing the quote. My issue was I had a very bad concrete pad inside an almost 90-100 year old house. He came on site, repaired all the issues and walk away with a flat new surface to install new flooring onto. Even after the job was completed, he followed up to address some issues and went above and beyond and resolved some issues i hadn't even pointed out to him. I would hire him in a heart beat. Thank you Doug for all your help.

Doug and crew replaced our old exposed aggregate patio and pavers with a 25'x10'x4" stamped concrete slab. When Doug came to quote the project, I immediately knew he was the guy for the job - he was very knowledgeable and respectful. We had some delays due to weather that couldn't be helped but through the process, Doug kept me informed. We had to change our planned stamp design at the last minute and Doug was very helpful in explaining the pros and cons of each option. In the end, I was very happy with how it all turned out. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Doug to anyone... he is a nice guy who takes pride in his work and follows through. Thanks Doug for a job well done!

After receiving several quotes on the work I wanted done, Doug was the most knowledgeable and experienced. He also was the only one that mentioned if any downspout got damaged during jackhammering and sawing, heâ d fix and replace. Was prompt and friendly in our interaction. He was also on site during the whole process of removal and finishing. Very detail oriented and when it was all said and done, could hardly tell any work had been done on our property, cleaned everything up and protected the grass, shrubs and house. Was also very fair in his quote. Was very impressed with Doug and his crew! We are really pleased with the work Doug and his crew did. Doug will be the first concrete company Iâ ll call if I need any concrete work done in the future, and have highly recommend Him to several friends. Well done guys!

Homeadviser connected me with Doug and he called me within 5 minutes of submitting the form. He was at my house within 1 hour to give me a quote for a hot tub slab. A week later (yesterday), the slab was completed with the highest quality (reinforced 6" slab). He's a great guy and I couldn't be any happier. The price was fantastic, he's a bargain! I have been burned lately with covid.. price gouging on EVERYTHING as we bought this new house (for example, I had a contractor give me a quote for $50K to hold the deck), I entered into this job with very little trust that I could get it done right at a good price. McCarthy is the read deal, you wont g wrong using them.

Doug did a great job on 1100 tsf of stamped concrete. It's beautiful. He is very conscientious, and put in long hours to get it just right. We would definitely recommend McCarthy Concrete.

Doug was great as was his crew. Doug kept us informed every step of the way. We had the our concrete done with an exposed aggregate finish. This adds extra steps to the finish work but was worth the extra cost to have it match our existing. Doug has a great deal of knowledge and knew where to order our concrete mix so that it would match. His team and pump subcontractor worked seamlessly with CalPortland for the pour. He finished the job by making sure everything was cleaned up. He always picked up the phone. Thank you Doug. We will be recommending you to everyone.

It's always a crap shoot on hiring a contractor. The first estimate I got was three times what Doug quoted me. Not only would I recommend him, we're already planning another job with him. His crew were obvious concrete experts. I've actually got people slowing down pass my new driveway to check it out. It's nice to know there are still contractors out there who do excellent work at a fair price. Who show up when they say they will , and bring competent workers with them .

Doug McCarthy (no relation) is the consummate professional. He contacted us in a timely manner, gave us a fair and detailed bid for our concrete floor (for our metal RV trailer and workshop building), and completed the job exactly as he described. His crew is extremely hard working and experienced as well. Everything was on time, cleaned up, and ready for the building construction. He answered all our questions right away and established trust from the very first contact. We will definitely recommend him.

Doug was very knowledgeable about his business and he offered a lot of information to me in our initial meeting. Doug continued to answer additional questions that I had. trusted and appreciated his expertise. Doug provides several examples of his work. When still in the decision making process I was able to continue to ask Doug questions about the job whether he was who I was going with or not. I truly appreciated his time and always getting right back to me with answers to my questions. Although Doug was the most expensive quote, I chose him. I felt invested with our time back and fourth. I rusted him and his work, I am happy that I chose Doug and I am very pleased with the cement pad that I now have fur my pool. Hands down McCarthy Concrete is who you want to do your concrete work!

Doug and his crew were great! He's got years of experience and it shows, very professional, showed up on time, and offered advice when asked. He installed a shop floor and poured a pad for our hot tub, ensuring both were up to specs for the respective weights. He also installed 2 walkways which improved our curb appeal 100% His pricing was fair and competitive. He was clearly the best choice for us out of the three companies we interviewed. We would definitely hire him again and would highly recommend him to anyone!

I had three concrete companies come to house and review the project with me. The first two seemed shady and didnâ t seem to have much to say other than you need to decide right away. Then came Doug McCarthy! He obviously had extensive experience and brought ideas and creativity to give us a beautiful patio. Donâ t choose anyone else!

He did a stamped patio for us and everyone who sees it loves it! He has also done some other flat work for us as well!
