I couldnâ t be more happy with the completed work. Not only were the guys efficient and professional but very respectful. Calling in, the office staff were knowledgeable and responsive. Prices were extremely reasonable as well. I refuse to go to anyone else at this point, and I will be referring them to as many people as I know.

In addition to replacing 10 ft of the cast iron standpipe, technicians also completed a spot repair of 15 ft of kitchen drain. We had a speedy response to our call; a technician came to evaluate the problems the day after we first contacted the company and the work was performed the following day. The 3 workers were courteous and task oriented, returning to their original space all items that had to be moved to complete the job. Our first experience with McClain was a sewer backup on Christmas Day 2021. A technician came here to clear a blockage when other companies didn't even take our calls. McClain & Bros truly offers superior service.

This review is related to a bathroom remodel (not plumbing services). McClain bros reached out to us via Homeadvisor based on info we entered. Received the quote and the guy seemed very knowledgeable. We did get other quotes and theirs was middle range. Unfortunately, he was not the one who did the work. The guys who worked on the bathroom were amateur at best. Grout haze all over tiles (shower, and floor) tile lippage on the shower wall, grout on floor cracking, the mosaic tile was installed cracked, drywall tape coming loose where wall and ceiling meet (our bathroom is properly ventilated so that is not related), they tried to piece together door Jam trim, door pulls on vanity very uneven. We did express concerns to owner about how shower corners were cracked grout and their solution was to put a wide band of caulk on it. Despite cleaning, caulk is molding because the right type of caulk was not used as told to us by multiple other contractors who are now bidding our bathroom remodel. They even stained our hallway stair closet (to owners credit, he did give us $75 to get it cleaned). Never thought we would have to be redoing our bathroom less than 5 yrs after a complete bathroom remodel. I am sure the guys who worked on our bathroom are no longer there but clearly there are no standards when it comes to workmanship. Please save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

Agreed to a price for remodel kitchen and new heating/AC with dual zone. After agreeing I was told that dual zone was not possible and that getting a larger unit would get the same effect. Then when they put the heating unit in, it was in the wrong place. That changed the design and I had to pay extra to move things around for their mistake. Even after this the heating/AC did not work. It had a 17° different from upstairs and downstairs. Kitchen was pretty nice and floors were good but other parts were left unfinished. Utility room that they built has not drywall and has holes in back wall. Dryer duct was installed incorrectly and not attached to anything inside the wall. At the end I was told that I could hold onto 4000.00 to fix the heating/AC. That did not help since it will cost me 7000.00 to replace with proper system. I feel like they take on more than they can chew.

Chaz was on time, was meticulous about taking old light system down and putting new system in. Completed 2 jobs within 2 hours. Was very pleasant and professional. Jib well done!

They did an electrical service upgrade and a transfer switch install. Absolutely great guys, great work, and very fair pricing. I highly recommend.
