I had some structural and re-framing work done in my condo and I was very happy with the quality and the timeline of the project. I got a very reasonable quote too (30% less than some other builders quoted). I would recommend to confirm all appointments/arrangements with Patrick a few hours prior to a corresponding event since he apparently has a very busy schedule.

Overall, I was quite pleased with the work provided by Patrick McClay and his crew. The end result looks great and is of good quality. The shortcomings: response time to emails is a little slow, scheduling work to overlap for the shortest work period could be better, management could be more detail-orientented. But past that, I would certainly recommend Patrick to friends.

McClay Carpentry is a new company that does excellent work for a very fair price. Patrick McClay is extremely responsive to requests for additions and changes for a reasonable price. McClay has done this project efficiently and promptly and worked with us to minimize the disruption to our house. McClay has also assisted us to find good contractors for work that they could not perform.
