Bill did the job correctly, but took longer than we expected for 3 workers to assemble a Yardistry gazebo. Bill could not provide an estimate, but said “pay what you think it’s worth when I’m done.” Bill then sent me an invoice for a bit more than we expected for 42 man-hours, but still acknowledged our pay what you feel it’s worth agreement. However, having an invoice with an amount due is now awkward. Unfortunately, we had to pay for the extra time needed to learn how to assemble this gazebo purchased from Costco. He also borrowed my 1/2” socket two days in a row which we thought was odd for an experienced contractor. Bill and his sons did a very good job with the assembly, so we’re pleased with the quality of his work! My only issue was not having any idea about the assembly cost up front and then receiving a bill anyway.

Bill is an excellent, knowledgeable contractor. He is courteous, friendly, keeps me updated on his timeline, and always does excellent work. I highly recommend him.

I hired Bill for some roof repair and inter water damage issues. The roof repairs were completed in a timely manner. Bill and his team are professional and responsive.

We chose Bill largely because of the great reviews he's received. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Bill ordered us a custom Andersen double window unit in pine instead of the oak we had requested, and he installed it unfinished despite the fact that Andersen offers numerous factory stains/finishes. He also put up pine trim even though all the surrounding trim is oak. For lower cost garage windows, he apparently assumed, incorrectly, that we did not want the exterior wood trim replaced (even though it is starting to rot). After we expressed our surprise and concern, he said he would cap the trim with aluminum but never followed through. He did come back once to correct other issues replacing the pine trim with oak and re positioning shutters. Bill is pleasant and comes across as very professional, but in our case a lack of attention to detail and communication omissions overshadowed everything else.

I needed three sliding doors put back in their tracks after years of kids use. They did an excellent job at a very reasonable price.

Bill did a great job. While installing our flooring he noticed water on the floor by the water heater. By finding this and letting us know, we were able to replace the water heater before it became a major problem. Bill does fine work and charges fair rates and I highly recommend him. Our laundry room is beautiful. We will be having Bill back to replace our floors in our kitchen and bathroom early next year.

Quality products and quality workmanship . Well satisfied.

I had a pipe leak presumably coming from my second floor bathroom to my basement. Bill began troubleshooting the problem and found the problem in a short period of time. Bill had to open the walls on both the second floor and the first floor in order to find where the leak was. Bill also found problems with my toilet which he repaired along with some minor repairs which he had no problems in doing. Bill did an excellent job in repairing the wall that he had to break and after sparkle and painting you will not be able to tell that there were any repairs done to the wall. Excellent job.

Bill is conscientious , keeps the project moving, and has professional ideas to add to the overall quality of the work being completed. Very professional results.

Bill took on a variety of tasks for us and completed them all with professionalism and pride in his work. He called and showed up when he said he would, worked at a steady pace, made excellent suggestions (without ever being pushy,) and charged very reasonable prices. Hired Bill to fix my chimney which had weathered to a point that mortor was falling out and the flashing at roof line was loose allowing possible water damage to the house. He was quick to arrive when promised and finished the job in one day. Did a great job wiith the repair and price was very reasonable. Very hard to get someone to do small projects. Have one...get Bill McClintock.

Bill is reliable and quick. I had a deadline to make, and he more than surpassed my expectations. He went the extra mile to make sure everything was done right. He did painting, roofing work, some general handyman work.
