I can only describe John McClure and Sons as hell on earth !! I got a construction loan for him to build my home. I am 67 years and was totally taken advantage of. They cut my trusses because they had no idea how to install a trey ceiling even after I told their expert&amp you CAN NOT CUT THE TRUSSES. Needless to say, they were cut. had to hire an engineer to design a repair kit. Its taken me two weeks to repair. He got paid for all the flooring in the house, kitchen cabinets, countertops, windows, etc... When I went to the house there were old dirty replacement windows and when I asked John why they were there his response the guys grabbed the wrong ones. I asked him again a few days later, where are my windows. His response someone stole them. He allocated 25,000 for HVAC but told has three months after the build began that the heating system was not included. The bank questioned why he allocated $25,000 and he said that was for my decorative propane fireplace and that would heat our 1800 square foot in the Adirondacks. 80% of the sheetrock needs to be taken down. Hung it wrong and so many gaps no professional could fix. Going to cost me $10,000 from my budget to hire sheetrock and taping person although John was already paid for it. All the electrical and plumbing needs to be fixed. national grid inspected and said it needs to be fixed. Town building inspector signed off on multiple violations John and his crew did. His employees have no idea what they are doing. One of the basement beams still sits in my backyard. I had another contractor go through the house and said contractors like John The bank is trying to recoup some of the money he ran off with. I have contacted the Attorney General and BBB. If he does not return the money next will be to the media. I have a litigation attorney on speed dial. I hold Home Advisor accountable because you referred him. Just google his name and read his reviews. He has screwed so many people. Do not let him dupe anymore people.
