Project doesn't pass inspection. No change orders during the course of the project, but many surprise charges at the end. ($20,000). Also, once the project was "complete" we began receiving notice that the contractor did not pay suppliers from the beginning of the project--from the first concrete pour on. Now we are facing $23,000 liens. An additional amount (thousands) will need to be spent to redo the pool finish, which is not acceptable. Some of the work is good, but all in all a very bad experience with many, many surprises at the end. Project took nearly 3 months longer than promised.
