DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY MADE PROMISES THAT WERE NOT FULFILLED. THE DRIVEWAY IS FALLING APART IN LESS THAN THREE YEARS!! PROMISED TO DO A FREE COATING THAT THEY NEVER DID... THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE OR RETURN MESSAGES....THEY VANISHED....I GUESS THAT HOW A SHAKY BUDINESS WORKS....DO A SUB PAR JOB THEN DISSAPEAR.... SELLS IT LIKE AN HONEST FAMILY BUSINESS.. .BUT IS JUST A COMPLETE RIPOFF DO NOT... DO NOT HIRE THIS BULSHIT COMPANY

This company is awful and operates under various names. They do subpar work and do not stand behind their so-called guarantees. Several have reported them to the BBB and the PA AG. I wish I had done my homework. Owen came out, was personable, and seemed straightforward. I agreed to pay cash, and they came out to do the work, which looked good at first glance. Then I paid extra because the son, Michael, said he could get it to look like glass his exact words. My driveway looks like the pre-surface of most roads and is not nearly as smooth as my 30-year-old neighbor driveway. I contacted them several times. When Owen asked for a recommendation, I asked if he was serious and told them about his son. He seemed shocked and said he would deal with it, but that did not mean doing my job correctly. My neighbors had them seal coat, and the job was awful. Another friend used them, and the driveway started to fall apart. DO NOT USES THEM!!

We hired this company to repave 1/2 of our driveway and apply new paving over 1/2. During the job, Owen insisted that he should apply a sealant. Did not say how much it would cost. Owen left the site leaving his son Michael behind. Son presented the bill and then quickly left. The sealant was very expensive (totally unexpected). When we checked out the job, found that whatever sealant they used was silver and streaky. Looked terrible. Requested Owen come back out to review. He did and agreed to reapply for a sealant and return the money to us. Well, that never happened. We took him to civil court and won. Still need to collect. Found out the business address listed on his card is a UPS office. Do NOT recommend this company unless you want bad results for good money.

Do not use this company. By far the cheapest quote but did a horrible job on our driveway. Have a huge spot they missed while spraying - sprayed my white house siding, patch job looked like I did it. While I am ok with some poor work I am most irritated that my patient husband received ZERO responses when he texted him over the course of several months.

I will never do business with Owen McDonald and Totally Asphalt again. Owen McDonald, the owner of Totally Asphalt, charged me many thousands of dollars and did a very poor job installing/repaving sections of my driveway this past autumn. He and his team left obvious, ugly seams in the asphalt, and within a month of completing the job multiple sections had already begun disintegrating. Owen also promised to repair a section of sidewalk for me concurrent with the asphalt project, but never did so. For 2.5 months following the work Owen did on my driveway, I texted and called him more times than I can count. Never once did Owen answer my calls, and never once did he call me back (this is after he had been extremely responsive during his sales process, in the lead-up to doing the work and getting paid). Owen did send me a few text replies during those 2.5 months, offering various excuses for why he was not getting back to me. After much prodding he finally set a date to look at my concerns in person, a date that was almost 5 months after his original work on my driveway. But that date has now come and gone with no communication or visit from Owen. He did not reply to my calls or texts in the weeks leading up to that date (I was attempting to reconfirm the date with him, as it had been a month+ since the date had been set), he did not contact me to tell me he needed to reschedule or to say he was not coming, and he has not responded to me since he blew off that date. Complete radio silence. I originally hired Owen McDonald and Totally Asphalt in large part due to the positive reviews I saw about him and his company on Home Advisor. I do not know what has happened since those reviews that has seemingly turned Owen into a business owner who provides poor-quality work and who breaks promises and leaves his customers high and dry, but that is the current state of affairs based on my experience with him. I regret hiring Owen McDonald and Totally Asphalt. I will not make that mistake again

Professional and extremely responsive. My driveway was destroyed by Ida. Owen and the crew did a great job at a reasonable price.

Owen and Michael were great to work with. I'm the third driveway on they street that they have paved and all of us are very happy with the results. The crew as professional and courteous. My project was quick, painless and professionally completed. I highly recommend these guys.

They did fantastic work!

Con job. I was given a price to pave my driveway. It was agreed, for an extra 500.00 they would cover the full drive including a spot behind the house. Apparently, not enough material was ordered for the full job. After saying something. To the owner/ foreman, I was told they will be back to finish. I paid them in full. My mistake. I have called and received no callback. My only resource is a review. Bad Business! Dont use!

They installed our new driveway for a reasonable price, were efficient, and very thorough in their work.

Totally Asphalt I would highly recommend. Owen was professional ,courteous, and correspondent was a must! They got the work done in a timely matter and the project was started shortly after we hired them. Nothing but A plus for this company!!

They left a large low spot in the driveway with thin asphalt that puddles every time it rains. It has been over 2 months and they have not come out to address the issue despite repeated attempts to contact them. This, after I was told that after install I could reach out to them with any issues. This is what you get for going with the low bidder.

They are very competent from a technical standpoint. They provide me with a three year warranty for replacing my existing driveway. They were price competitive!

They did a great job. They beat 3 other estimates on price and promised more than the others. Owen did all he promised they they would do and more. We're very happy with the job they did and our new driveway.

Owen and his team were prompt, courteous, and professional from start to finish. They worked with us at every turn even when we made changes after the project has started. The finished project is simply beautiful and I have little doubt many of my neighbors will be calling Totally Asphalt sooner rather than later. 100% would recommend this company!

Totally Asphalt are great! WHY? When I when I decide to hire Totally Asphalt company he gave me a great price. It was so good, my neighbor went in on the deal. He gave us a better deal, because it was two driveways then! He stayed in touch with me, and he showed up when he said he would for the estimate, and the work! The job was done quickly and they cleaned up!

They were quick, responsive and fairly priced. I was pleased with the results and I would recommend their service wholeheartedly.

I believe the work they did will add value to my home to help me sell it.They went above and beyond what Owen and I discussed.

This is a good family owned company, and I will be passing their info on to family and friends
