I wholeheartedly recommend McKay Construction for any roofing needs you may have. Reggie McKay has been in the roofing business since he was a boy working with his father, and he knows the business. I needed to replace about 550 sq ft of roof that spanned both an open porch and a spray-foam-insulated room. The incompetent job done by the subcontractors my builder used resulted in three leaking, rotten spots in the decking after only a few years. Mr. McKay quickly analyzed the problem and proposed a workmanlike repair for a fair price. He and his crew showed up when he said they would and finished the job quickly and professionally, including a thorough clean-up, resulting in a newly sound roof that exceeds code requirements. I would not hesitate to employ McKay Construction again.

Mr. McKay seemed very knowledgeable of what was going on on my roof I told him what I thought was wrong but he found what was really wrong I appreciate that once the rain comes then I will If theyâ re late has been fixed they one-year guarantee was one of the best selling points

McKay Condtruction was able to address my emergency roofing issues in a timely manner. Most importantly the service and price was reasonable and fair. They are not like others who will try to inflate pricing but will be upfront and honest. Pictures were also provide of finished product. Highly recommended !

This is a belated review, given the work by McKay was completed in Nov 2019. I am living in Tennessee, and I needed my daughter roof repaired in Decatur. I could not do the work myself, so I relied on HomeAdvisor to connect me with potential contractors. After contacting several, McKay was the only one to call me back the same day (a Saturday). They were able to review the project and provide an estimate immediately. By Monday, they were onsite and took care of the issue. Without my asking, they took pictures and sent them to me to see the completed work. They also advised on a related issue, for which I approved additional work. It took several weeks before I could inspect the work in person, and I am very pleased. Great work, responsive, customer-focused, and in my opinion, their pricing was fair. If I need roofing work in the future, I will contact them without hesitation.
