I had an unusual job in trimming shrubs that were overgrown. They looked great afterwards. He had trouble planting two shrubs as I live on rock here in Bella Vista. He didn't come back when he said he would and I had to have some one else finish the planting. He did call on Monday to come, but my son was here and had done it for me.

The man who gave me the quote promised 2 to 3 guys for $65/ hour but only ONE guy showed up and it took him over 4 hours! His quality of work was good but it took him so long that it was very expensive. I would NOT recommend this company!

"I'm sorry you feel that way. You where not charged for 2 people you where only charged for 1. Please look back at your invoice. You had a large yard that needed a lot of attention. McLavey did a great job removing a huge tree and two trees that were a little smaller. Their bid was way lower than three other contractors, and they did everything that they were supposed to. I did have to wait a couple of extra days because their boom truck was in the shop, but I know things like that happen and for the amount of money I saved it was well worth waiting for them to do the job.

We hired this company to take down a couple of trees, they were prompt and the price was reasonable. Person doing the work was nice and a hard worker. The only issue we have is we can't get the company to call us back, we were wanting them to come back and level the ground where the two trees were located, because some of the stumps remained after they were supposed to have been removed. WeI had originally gave them a five star review, but had to change it, due to the fact the company will not return our calls.

they gave a quote before they started the job & should've stayed with that quote, instead they added more onto the bill, called it taxes to cover up what they had originally quoted the job for, then on top of that, damaged my home by falling a limb onto my back porch, he promised that he would take care of it, but no results yet, he refuses to turn it into his insurance company, says he will pay out of pocket, which remains to be seen, this is still on going

The only slight negative is McLavey was overbooked and sent only one man. He did a good job, but I never received a follow up call to ask about service, considering the fact that McLavey didn't himself show up.

Very professional did great work, still haven't finished the stump grinding due to grinder breaking down. But have assured me that they will finish the job. They did not want to be paid until they finish, so I am sure they will finish the job.
